Affordable and close to everything, you definitely get what you pay for but no complaints, the bed was big and comfy the bathroom was a reasonable size, TV has all the channels and options to watch if you want to stay in. I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s always consistent and convenient

We were traveling on a budget and this place was perfect. Definitely not fancy, but it was great for the occasion. It was clean & comfortable. It had a mini fridge, coffee & coffee maker, nearby ice machine, hair dryer, iron, etc. I would consider staying again.

Place is old school, needs a litte more guidance with house keeping and is a super good deal with minimal amenities but surprisingly quiet for being a downstairs unit and dog friendly. We had a blast, dog included, and all bedding towels and necessities were perfectly fine. I believe it was the owner who checked us in and he made us feel like we were VIP guests. I would absolutely stay again.

Another great stay at the Tea Garden! Quick and easy check-in. 3-5 minute walk to the casinos. 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. As always Jimmy is right in top of any service you need—in this case turning on the heater pilot before we went out for the night. This us our go to place for concerts at Harvey’s.

Great location, easily walkable to Harvey's Outside Venue and casinos. Reception was friendly and nice. If you just need a bed for a night, might be a decent option, but walls are quite thin, and noise travels. We were on ground level, and could hear people overhead walking, maybe upstairs would be quieter, but no elevator. Also, might want to request extra blankets if needed before office closes, thin covers on bed, and no spare in room.

This is one of the last hotels near Stateline with the old Tahoe vibe. It seems most other hotels have been sold to the highest bidder, get a new coat of paint and then start charging $300 a night. Stateline has changed a lot since I was kid. We were up here as a last minute trip to see family and just needed a bed, a roof, and a bath. That’s what we got and it did the job just fine. No frills, no spas. If you’re looking for luxury, this may not be the place for you. If you’re a weary traveler however, Tea Garden Lodge is wonderful. They allow pets too which my dog thinks is great. Thanks.

Close to casinos and beach!!

This was the second time we had stayed at the Tea Garden, and again it was awesome. Rooms were clean, and the bed super comfortable. The Tea Garden is 2 blocks from the casinos, so it is an easy walk to concerts at Harvey’s via the back entrance (behind Harvey’s). It is also only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I emphasize walk as you will not get a parking spot. Be aware the beach costs $25 a person, but ask about discounts at check-in. As an added bonus you get Jimmy! Jimmy is the owner, and he is super positive and always hustling to make the place as nice as it can be. Now, to be honest, the Tea Garden is an older place, but it is kept up well. There is no central AC, but portable AC units are provided. If you are staying at Tahoe and just need a place to sleep and shower, the Tea Garden is perfect! On fact, we are staying there this week again!
