"Everything was fine"

"The stay at Baymont was terrible, the room was not clean. I took Clorox wipes and wiped down everything and the dirt looked like it had been there forever. The tub was nasty even the mattress cover was stained. And there water bugs."

"I did not get up early enough for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The shower felt amazing but could use a face lift. Other than that I enjoyed my stay."

"Breakfast was average or what is the norm for most hotels. I appreciate the coffee always being available. The air in the room was fine, worked well with no issues and not too loud. The day staff was usually no where to be found never at the desk. When I needed assistance I had to go knock on the office door to get someone to help me. A homeless person was asleep on the couch in the dining area. The evening staff , mainly female, were friendly and always at the desk. The shower curtain was ripped and mildew was growing in the bathroom on the sealant and shower bar. When we requested room cleaning, the towels were replaced. The beds were not touched, I mean, sheets not changed or beds made. The bathroom had broken tiles and trim and paint on the back of the door that didn’t match?! For the nightly price of the room, I was very disappointed. I will choose another hotel the next time I’m in the area. The staff was friendly, but friendly doesn’t always translate into great service and clean environment. "

"Placid Acres is a quiet and cozy place to stay when in the Bennettsville, SC area. So much better than staying in a local motel. The owners provide complimentary coffee and tea. The shower has a soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. There are plenty of towels. There is kitchenware and cleaning supplies if needed. I slept on the air bed in the living room and it was comfortable for me. I would definitely stay at Placid Acres VRBO again!"
