「Staff was ok. When we arrived and went to our room the ac was turned off and the room was hot and humid. It took sometime for the room to cool off. The bathroom was not clean. There was short hair in several places in the tub/shower as well as short black hair embedded in one of the towels. The hair dryer was yellowed and dirty it made scrapping noises producing a burning smell. The room doors are exterior doors and our room happened to be in a hallway instead of an open walkway. 「Connie checked us in and took great care of us. She let us check in a couple of hours early. She pointed out the good and bad places to eat in town. She saved us $10 a day in parking fees by letting us park at their sister hotel closer to the heart of downtown Helen. The deck area by the pool was a great place to watch the sunset as it is perched on the edge of the parking lot with great views of town. The City Park is walking distance across the street as well as restaurants and gas stations....

「We only stayed for one night and it was a basic hotel stay. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and the air got cold. Got a great night sleep then left early the next morning. It was a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy or frilly, but I paid a basic price for a standard room. As long as it’s clean and serves the purpose, I’m happy. I’d definitely stay again if passing through the area.」

「The room was clean wen we first arrived, but after a while the bathroom started to smell like sewage. The sewage smell was on and off, and was so bad when it was on that we did not even want to open the bathroom door or be in the toilet/shower area. When we said something to the staff, we were told that they did not have a problem in our room before, they had in the 2 other rooms, one being the room next to us.
