Tranquil "Peaceful Bay"

Apart from the weather, we had a great time here. It is a pretty rustic experience though the beds are comfortable and it was very clean with a number of fans to help in the cooling. The outside of the house (deck, patios, railings) are in need of significant work as there is a lot of rot and everything was pretty dirty/disorganized. The kitchen is pretty spartan and lacked simple things like salt and pepper shakers. There were 6 of us throughout our stay and we managed fine. However, if a group at the maximum listed occupance used the property, there are insufficient dishes. large serving bowls, etc. Having said this we would and might stay here again next year if the timing works out.

Peaceful Bay

Beautiful spot. Sat on dock watching the sunset on one side and full moon on the other. Will definitely be back!

Peaceful

Even with the snag about the property not being cleaned prior to our stay, we enjoyed the property and location. The bay is very peaceful and made for great paddle-boarding and kayaking. The location is also a nice short walk to Lakeside.

Disappointing

The house is in need of repair(s). House & deck/patio were dirty. Patio screen door was all torn up so flies were able to enter. Master toilet does not work. Master shower is a thin plastic slide in. Shower and its fixtures felt like could cave in/fall in at any moment in both main floor bathrooms. Windows either have no curtains or curtains do not work. Lights are ran by extension cords attached to extension cords hung all over. Sliding door on patio does not lock. Front door was left unlocked when we arrived. Lawn service mowed rocks, dirt & pine cones all over our vehicles & took down all of our chairs, games & floats and put them in a pile. Downstairs has an odor. Not at all what you expect to get for the price that we paid for a week long stay.

Fun 4th of July week

Overall impression is good. We thought there were a few cleaning and maintenance issues, but not enough to really affect our experience. We had a very good time. Great weather. Low lake level made boating a little tricky.

Beautiful

This was such a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. We loved the bunk room and downstairs set up for the kids and the deck (and downstairs covered area) allowed us to enjoy time outside despite the rain. We are already thinking of booking again for next year! Instructions and communication with host was super clear and easy to follow. The home had tons of things like towels, blankets, and pillows. The only recommendation I have for the host is to provide some basic coffee to go with the adorable coffee bar set up (though Treasure State Coffee just down the road is top noche and worth a visit too!)

Quiet and perfect for the pup

The yard and location inside this serene bay made for a perfect little getaway with our dog. The neighborhood was perfect for daily walks into town and everyone we met along the way was very kind.

Excellent for Playing at the Lake!

Great location near Lakeside with a nice new dock and big yard. We had a couple boats so the dock worked great and location was perfect in the bay, so it was always relatively calm. The upstairs got pretty hot and didn't cool down until early a.m. hours. The bunk beds in the cabin were a little hard to sleep on for 4 nights, the BBQ wasn't great for cooking and there weren't any spices available. We left ours at home but there wasn't salt, pepper or any others available. The BBQ works it just cooked very hot in one spot, not great throughout. The garbage was also full when we arrived and wasn't emptied until a day before we left. Not ideal, because we had trash and no where to put it for a few days. Otherwise the cabin had what we needed. A place to sleep with a big yard, a beauty new dock and showers to clean up afterward.

Fantastic Time Spent With Family

The host is wonderful to work with! So kind and prompt! The cabin is adorable and we had a fantastic time on the lake! The price is just right without breaking the bank. It's hard these days to find an affordable family vacation. While so many are raising prices this host has kept the rates more than reasonable for demand. That's saying something! We would definitely stay here again.

Overview

Owner was great. Location is wonderful - quite cove, great view. Very charming neighborhood and house. I like being on the Lakeside of Flathead Lake. Viewing the lake and mountains on the other side was beautiful..

Pleasant and peaceful stay

We had a lovely stay. Enjoyed the view, relaxing on the deck, and visiting town. Convenient location but far enough away from town and Hwy 93 to avoid noise and activity. Easy water access and the views from the dock where amazing.

Lakeside review

great location but high price for several reasons: - dock not safe & unable to sit on to enjoy the water view - missing amenities found in most places ( soap, shampoo, enough toilet paper, blankets, spices) -address not listed on VRBO - phone number of host not listed on VRBO - deadbolt was locked from inside so getting in with code did not work -cleanliness was not great... cob webs in various places, pet hair all over under pads of one of the couches. -said it slept 8 but only had 2 bedrooms
