Our newly constructed stand alone 2 Bedroom 1 Bath 650 square foot home is located next to 72 open acres with horses sleeps 6 people including the use of a sofa bed. The kitchen also includes a brand new refrigerator, GE electric cooktop with pots and pans, microwave with air fryer, coffee pot and mixer. Also available by request is a Kitchenaid mixer. With WiFi and a 50" TV you can binge on NetFlix too. Located less than 19 miles from the San Diego Airport, 24 miles from the World Famous San Diego Zoo, 17 miles from San Diego State University, quick access to the Gaslamp and 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of La Jolla the Morey de Prieto Surf Ranch offers you privacy, majestic mountain views and access to wonderful trails including Iron Mountain Trailhead, Mission Trails, Sycamore, Cowles Mountain and dozens of other trails for hiking and biking. We are also close to boating activities at Mission Bay as well as Lake Jennings and San Vicente Reservoir. If the vineyards in Ramona Valley are on your list or the historic mountain town of Julian then you will be even closer to your destination. From the ocean to the foothills of the Cuyamaca Mountains you will definitely enjoy your stay and return for future adventures. Updates: In August of 2024 we added a 240 square foot Trex deck complete with a fire pit, seating for 6 and a new BBQ so you can enjoy a nice relaxing evening outdoors or sit out and watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. In January 2026 we added a laundry room next to the property for guests so enjoy the Maytag washer and dryer. We also have a pair of bikes to rent for free as well as a pair of Morey Boogie Boards to rent for just $40 during your stay and a 9’ Degree 33 Soft Top Surfboard available to rent for an additional fee.
