Between the pull out sofas and the full and twin beds in the loft area, we had more than enough space for our family and friends. Beds were comfortable and rooms were dark so sleep was easy to come by. Lovely outdoor area in the rear of the house with fountain and fire pit. Hot tub on lower level pleased our teens. My only concern was with the amount of space this home provided, there was a shortage on forks, we found ourselves having to wash the forks in the dishwasher for our meals and we only had 7 people dining. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay completely!

The location is good; it's tucked back in the woods a good ways, which is nice but means you'll have about a 20 minute drive to get anywhere. The cabin itself is great. The only downside is that it's at the top of a pretty steep hill, so parking can get a little tricky. Lots of space though and it was very clean. Great porches to hang out on. Awesome game room downstairs and loft upstairs. It is well equipped with all of the essentials (dishes, appliances, etc.), but the kitchen faucet needed a new aerator when we were there. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you're looking for a place that a big group stay around Center Hill Lake. The management company, Center Hill Chalets, was very easy to work with.

A Much Needed Time In The Woods Of Tennessee!

My daughter has been homeschooling her three kids and not going anywhere for a year. She asked me to look for a cabin in TN for her family, my husband and I to get away for a few days. I was about to give up due to high prices and Unavailability, when I found the Robin's Nest! The only days it was available were the days my son in law had off work! It sounded perfect for our family. We heard about flooding in TN but the chalet was up on a hill so it was fine. The driveway was very steep but my daughter's van and our car made it up just fine. We were SO impressed with the chalet when we went in. There were a LOT of stairs! The upstairs was perfect for the kids. The master bedroom was on the main floor and perfect for my husband and I. The bed was SO comfy! My daughter and her husband took one of the downstairs bedrooms and there was still a bedroom left. The kids loved the air hockey game and foosball! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub! We went on walks in the woods and down to the lake. The back deck has a firepit and a seating area where we spent a lot of time together. The kitchen is well equipped. They have plenty of dishes, pans, appliances, spices, and anything you'd need to cook. The gas grill had no gas or wasn't working so my husband had to go a LONG way to a dollar store for some charcoal. There are plenty of towels and wash clothes in the bathrooms. There are extra blankets too. The home has AC and heat and a fireplace and is very comfy on a cold, rainy day. We had a wonderful time reconnecting as a family, enjoying nature, and laughing a lot!

Beautiful Disappointment

The trip would have been perfect if we didn't get an infection from the hot tub. I would say I am a reasonable person. The floor creaked that I found endearing for a log cabin. Lots of room and plenty for the kids to do. It was what we wanted! Sunday night we finally decide to us the hot tub. We noticed that the water was cloudy and we didn't really get any bubbles. Didn't think anything of it though until the next day and I have big puss spots all over my body! Both myself and my friend got them really bad. The kids didn't have a reaction, luckily! When we left we had to send the management company what we noticed was wrong so we didn't get charged anything. In that list we told them about the hot tub. They asked if we contacted maintenance and didn't know they had one, so we said no. We followed up with a more in depth email about what our doctors told us we had and they specifically said it's from hot tubs. the management company never responded to us. We are very disappointed that the management company is not taking ownership to not cleaning the hot tub PRIOR to us getting there. We asked for them to help us understand there process and see if there was something we should have been doing while there, but we got crickets, so now I am forced to write this review and give the house a low score. I wish they paid more attention to details and would have at least communicated back to us.

Our kids had a blast with the all the games and activities offered. The drive way is steep, but has a semi-flat spot at the top. Close enough to the lake to walk.

So I left my portable DVD player at home and brought 14 DVD's with me that I really wanted to watch. There were some of the owners DVD's left there but NO DVD Player. Otherwise the place was great for some much needed R&R. It's Kitchen was very well stocked with amenities. The owner went over and above there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I booked a last minute trip to relax in the woods for a few days without having to leave the property. There was plenty to do - a short, beautiful walk to the lake, the game room was so much fun, the kitchen was well stocked to cook together, and we had a lovely time using the fire pit and hot tub. Yes, the property is steep, but we didn't mind. The location provided a treehouse feel with modern comforts. Our only minor inconveniences were the slow draining showers (with a used soap bar left in) and the batteries in remotes were running low. Easily fixable - we'd love to return in the future.

Family Retreat

Overall this was a great property for a weekend escape. The driveway is very steep and so are the stairs. Quite the workout carrying everything inside. Also, the floors squeak terribly so If you are a light sleeper...bring some earplugs. We loved all of the porches and convenience to the lake.

Robin's Nest @ Cove Hollow

The house was very nice. As some reviews mentioned, the driveway is very steep and hard to maneuver. The outside stairs are pretty steep and slippery when wet. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing time at this house. Very close to Center Hill Marina as well.

Thoughts about the Cabin

Overall the property was fine but a few additions to the house could really help. The downstairs bathroom shared by two bedrooms had one tower rack and NO hooks. A real pain since we were sharing the room. Silverware not so great, especially the few forks available. If the house sleeps 12 there should be silverware for 12. The bottom step in one area is only two inches from the floor and very hard to distinguish from the floor. Easy to lose your footing. I know these are small complaints but they are easily fixable. Overall it suited our needs quite well and we had a super time.

Beautiful Cabin in Lancaster

Our stay was overall great! It was able to accommodate our big family and had great games for the kids. Everything was clean and ready to go! The only feedback I would have is to paint the first step on the loft stairs a different color to bring awareness to it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented cabins all over TN and this was by far our favorite cabin and location! The cabin is BEAUTIFUL and very clean!! We really enjoyed the hot tub, air hockey table, foosball table and golf arcade machine! We walked down the hill a few times to fish off the pier. We shared pictures and our wonderful experience on our Facebook and lots of friends loved it and said they planned on also renting it the next time they come to Center Hill! We will definitely be back!!

Quiet Retreat with scary parking

The parking is scary and almost not existent for more then 1 vehicle (a 2nd car can fit but it very tight). We had 4 vehicles. We had to park 1 down at the Mariana and 1 at the bottom. Lock is very hard to turn. Tv down stairs only works if you gave a roku sign in .
