"The house and grounds so beautifully curated and maintained by the owner Thierry is an absolute joy to stay in. Wildlife abounds - deer appearing in the field, butterflies, birds of prey, geckos and the star of the show the midwife toad whose sonar like call will astonish! Monein is good for provisions but you may need to travel further afield for more entertainment. "Cadre et environnement magnifiques, si vous recherchez des vacances paisibles, c'est le lieu idéal. Nous avons adoré la maison atypique et décorée avec goût. Nous y avons passé 2 belles semaines. Sophie et Didier sont très sympathiques, ça fait plaisir d'être reçus de la sorte, ils sont très discrets également. Tout est à 3/4 h, 1h de voiture environ si vous souhaitez visiter les villes et villages. Le Béarn est un très bel endroit. A faire !"

"Maison et accueil très agréable. Nous étions 9 et avons utilisé les 5 chambres. Au calme, avec quelques commerces au village (épicerie, traiteur/boucher, pain, restaurant). Accès très facile à la côte en voiture. Manque juste un petit livret avec les infos importantes/utiles à proximité : médecins/commerces, activités proches/recommandées, bonnes adresses des propriétaires ... Nous recommandons +++ cette location ! Et vous souhaitons une bonne poursuite de vos projets de rénovation !"

"Beautifully updated and lovingly maintained cottage for a perfect experience of rural France. Very close to two major towns (Pau and Bayonne) as well as multiple charming villages, it makes for an ideal location for exploring the foothills of Pyrénées. The owners, Shona and Ken, are very friendly and accommodating people, truly interested in the comfort of their guests. We strongly recommend the gîte, and hope to return there again soon."

Une encyclopédie concernant sa région à nous conseiller les beaux endroits à visiter. Petit moins, il manque des moustiquaires indispensables à cette période mais, la propriétaire s’en charge pour l’été prochain.Nous avons quitté les lieux avec des très bons souvenir. Merci!"
