“Nice staff. But walls peeling in bathroom, door entry into room has huge gap underneath so you can hear everything in and out of the room. Flies buzzing around, bins being emptied at 8am next to our room. Mould in bathroom”

“Room had no central heating,only a oil fired radiator Bathroom underfloor heating only in middle of day, nowhere to put any items in bathroom and poor lighting and no drinking water for kettle. Plug sockets could only do kettle or radiator and no socket for lamp by bed. Very basic room,towels too small. Breakfast very good value ”

“Nice place, big rooms”

“I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay. It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.”

“The room was beautiful so cosy spotlessly clean bathroom amazing bed very comfortable room was bright and airy location beautiful idlic views and last but not least staff were very friendly always smiling and so polite ”

“Very clean and simple, perfect for what we needed, ...comms were also really good and simple...particularly liked that the heating was on and place was warm when we arrived...excellent ”

“The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked, the shower head and toilet bowl were dirty. Both these things ought to be spotless in a hotel, if they have cleaners then they are not doing their job properly!! The room was set for one person when the booking stated 2. We asked for another mug but didn’t realise about just one large towel until we had a shower and at that point just shared as unable to contact the desk unless we walked over to them. The price was cheap but even so……

“First time staying and we were impressed. Rooms are spacious and clean. Having a bath in our family room would have been better for our younger children. The receptionist was very helpful, welcoming and friendly! The restaurant food was good. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. Great for both adults and children. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. ”
