Couldn’t have been easier….

Simple, easy check in. Towels for the pool great, quiet room. Fantastic shower and toiletries. Great family stay as a stopover.

Novotel generally of d high standard with a pool and a good restaurant in a quiet area of south LeMans with private parking . However lift was out of order, stairwell was incredibly smelly and room was quite smelly. Breakfast service was a lower standard than usual with slow table clearing service even at the end of the breakfast period. There is an amazing bakery La Feuilette about half a mile from the hotel providing alternatives to the paid for breakfast. Novotels normally high standards were slipping a bit on this occasion, but on balance still a great stopover midway between southern France and Calais Eurotunnel.

Unfortunately despite us having paid in full for half board for a family of 4 prior to arrival, the arrival staff had been misinformed and were only expecting a meal booking for one adult. The staff did rectify this but it was an unnecessary stress after an 11 hour drive.

This s place is a dump. Filthy carpets, stained chairs, nicked up walls. The place looks like an 80’s roadside motel from the states that someone bought and attempt a facelift on. The lobby area is nice but the rest is crap. The hotel is located in an industrial area and boast a formidable fence and Elyria gate system to enter their grounds. We were truly taken aback after having spent several days in Villages in Western France. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my ex wife! (Well, maybe!)

Don’t eat here if you have allergies

The worst place have ever eaten as a coeliac. Daughter was given ‘penne’ as a gluten free meal. It wasn’t a gluten free version. Some staff were doing their best to help and clearly hasn’t been given any training on allergies. One member of staff (and the allergen menu) said chips were gf, the next member of staff said they were not. Do not eat here if you have allergies. The staff were lovely and just doing their best.

Nice place for a stop on the way through France. Outdoor pool and play area was great for kids! Seems everyone else had the same idea! Restaurant gets booked up quickly and we struggled to eat due to delays getting to the hotel with the now inevitable immigration delays at Caen port. Uber Eats to the hotel was a saviour. Breakfast on the other hand was utterly appalling. Came down at 0830 to find the buffet completely devoid of food and the staff very slow to react and stock up. Even then it was limited. Not sure what the issue was that a breakfast advertised to 10am was lacking 90 mins before that. If they sorted out the food and drink issues at this hotel, it would be a much better experience for all guests.

There was an issue with the booking, I had booked for 3 nights, but they only had 2 nights booked on their system. Also their system was showing different prices, to the booking prices, so I had to agrue with them about the cost of each night. Lastly the aircon was not working in the bedroom, so we had to move rooms after the first night.

Hotel heeft in meerdere opzichte. Een update nodig

Het gevoel dat de 3 receptie medewerkers niet het gewenste niveau hadden. Veel onderlinge geïrriteerde discussies achter balie en dan nog niet de kamerpasjes goed voorzien van een code, zodat we weer terug moeten lopen naar de receptie. Kamers mogen een update, maar schoon en prima bedden.

L’essayer une fois … et ne pas y retourner avant la rénovation majeure que l’on espère prochaine pour les asthmatiques. Le seul point positif de cet hôtel est le veilleur de nuit

C'est très loin d'être un 4 étoiles peut-être tout juste au-dessus d' un hôtel formule 1. Je ne sais pas comment sont attribuées les étoiles mais je pense qu' il y a peut-être des dessous de table quand on s'appelle Accor. Il y a juste le prix qui correspond à cette classification. Quand au restaurant on est sur la même lignée.

Gedateerd hotel, simpele kamers voor relatief veel geld.Douchen in een soort bad. Heel jong personeel, een drankje duurt lang en tappen of mixen was niet goed. In het restaurant geen tafelwater en geen brood, simpele en normale zaken.

Hotel is in a run down relatively poor area as a result there were groups of young people hanging around and in the quieter areas we did not feel safe. Security of the car park was a concern. The restaurant seemed under staffed and was in some disarray with long wait times and poor communication.

Hotel convenable. L'interieur est bien mais l'extérieur aurait besoin d un rafraîchissement. Le quartier n'est pas terrible et assez loi. Du centre ville même si le tramway est à quelques dizaine de mètres.
