Maintenace issue, such as plumbing and thre shower head ( there was a crack on the neck of the shower hose and the head was disassembled when I opened the water), stains on curtains and the bed spread...etc. Great location, floor was clean, and the staff was good. The bed was firm and I liked it.

Great location and nice looking hotel and the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was served on the roof terrace but wasn't very exciting. The room was a good size with a skylight but was bright and airy. However there was some heavy rain and the ceiling leaked and there was water over the floor. When I mentioned this, I got the impression they blamed me! The toiletries in the bathroom were very poor, just a couple of sachets (I bring my own so not an issue for me) The minibar wasn't very well stocked and the bar didn't appear to be open. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room (I have been in lower starred hotels in Italy that provide much more) Lastly I have never seen a hotel charge for slippers or extra towels! Overall it's a decent enough hotel but the finer details are missing

On a beautiful square overlooking the baroque church of Santa Chiara, the hotel exudes old world charm. Our family room had a queen sized bed and a loft with a large bed for total privacy. A nice balcony was on the square/park.

Excellent location. Right in the center of the old town. The negatives are that it advertises a roof top jacuzzi and bar. There is no bar and you are not allowed use the Jacuzzi. It is only for show. It also says gym, hot tub and pool. You have to pay extra to use them. Other than that, an excellent hotel, decent enough breakfast, with lovely pleasant staff

Ihan ok hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla

Sijainti keskeisellä paikalla, hyvä aamupala tarjotaan upealla kattoterassilla. Osa huoneista pieniä. Hotela.comin mukaan superior-huoneeseen olisi pitänyt kuulua parveke mutta tämä ei pidä paikkansa vaan huoneessa oli pienet avattavat ikkunat. Huoneessa ei ole kahvia/vedenkeitintä ja tossuista olisi pitänyt maksaa 5€. Huoneessa oleva kassakaappi ei toiminut. Kylpylästä ei ole kokemusta, se olisi maksanut 35€/hlö. Vastaanoton henkilökunta voisi olla ystävällisempiä aamupalan henkilökunta oli sensijaan oikein ystävällisiä. Mielestäni hotellin taso ei ole niin hyvä kuin annetaan ymmärtää.

This hotel sucks

Do not believe this hotel when they say they have parking. They do not and told me so when I arrived with my bags. Very unhelpful. Simply shrugged shoulders and did little to help. To be fair the city of Lecce is almost impossible for cars so little surprise they don’t allow them into the centre. Had I known, had the hotel actually said something beforehand, I could have made a different decision. Maybe still stay but accept what was to happen. Or not to stay and find somewhere else that could better accommodate a car. We are on a road trip so the car aspect is very important. That the hotel did nothing to assist is unacceptable. The fact that the hotel is fine, location great, city lovely is sadly beside the point. The hotel management sucks. Their attitude ruined our stay. I am very very disappointed.

Terrible. 2,5 stars at the most

Terrible experience. The website said “parking available” (15 euro). Street parking available. Arriving I was told that THER WAS NO PARKING, even on the street. There was a parking lot 800m away (25 euro!). At the room there WAS NO WINDOW, just a skylight in the ceiling that opened about 5 centimeters, so no ventilation. it was 17 to 20 degrees outside, but 27 degrees inside the room ALL THE TIME. The air conditioning WASN'T WORKING. At the reception I was told "as it was cold, only the HEATING was on. And that they couldn't turn on the air conditioning and the heating at the same time because it was just one system for the whole hotel. !!!! I asked for another room and there wasn't one. My wife had to sleep covered in a wet towel to withstand the heat in the room. It's worth mentioning that the staff were not at all welcoming and when I complained about these absurdities I was told very unwillingly that I should write to the manager. In addition, the room's electronic password safe was broken. In the bathroom, soap and shampoo came in small sachets and not in bottles as is normal in 3-star hotels in Italy. I had to open 5 sachets of soap plus 5 of shampoo for each shower. RIDICULOUS. Breakfast was reasonable but well below the average for 3-star hotels around here. Finally, the slippers, which in any self-respecting hotel or B&B in Italy are offered as a courtesy, were charged 5 euros. A hotel which claims to be 4-star when it should have a maximum of 2.5.
