"A beautifully maintained and owner-cherished lodge in a peaceful surroundings away from the hubbub of normal life. A lovely relaxing place to spend time and to use as a base when enjoying the breathtaking views and experiences in the local area. The beds were comfy, the showers were powerful, and there’s every utensil you need for a group of 6 in the kitchen to cook and eat together. The little welcome pack was a lovely touch."

"I donâ€™t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didnâ€™t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. "Great room with lovely seating area in the middle of Ilfracombe. Carparking handy and cheap. Lots to do and see. Just one problem with the gutter outside the room leaking with heavy rain and very noisy. A part from that, perfect, with Woolacombe bay surfing just 15mins down the road."

"We recently stayed at Croyde Bay, and our family room offered everything we needed, including a fridge, alongside all the usual essentials like an ironing board, hairdryer, and kettle. There was even an extra heater and a fan provided if needed. It was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The facilities were perfect for our family. The swimming pool area was warm, clean, and well-maintained, complete with tidy changing rooms, sun loungers, a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. While we didn't use the gym, it looked amazing. Outside, the grounds and gardens were beautifully kept, and the outdoor play area, activities, and arcades kept the family thoroughly entertained. It was fantastic being so close to the beach; I just wish we had chosen a week with better weather! The buffet breakfast offered everything you could possibly want, nicely cooked and presented, with particularly amazing poached eggs! Dinner was equally good, and I highly recommend the chorizo and honey pizza. Above all, every member of staff we interacted with was remarkably friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The only drawback occurred on our final night when some teenagers were running through the corridors banging doors. While not ideal in general, it was made worse when it woke and frightened our four-year-old, leaving us struggling to get him back to sleep. Despite that, it was a fantastic stay, and we are already looking at when we can return!"
