The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails. We loved being able to set off on foot and find hidden tarns and breathtaking views without even needing the car.Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and incredibly……

“Lovely little base for exploring everything the Lakes has to offer. Apartment lovely and clean, and ideally located with several shops and eateries nearby. Parking was fine for us with it being a quieter time of year (street parking) but I would imagine this would be a bit trickier in the busier months. “This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

Flat has everything you need and is situated on the second floor of a nice property located in a beautiful large garden. Highly recommended!”

“The cottage is quirky with exposed wooden beams in the upstairs rooms. Suited us fine for a three night stay. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet location. The Chalet tea rooms does a very nice breakfast and is right next door. Keswick is an easy walk of about a mile.There is no village shop.”
