Elk Ridge Cabin

Very clean. Comfortable for our family group of four. Very nice amenities and near places we were interested in exploring. Would definitely recommend to other family and friends.

Great Stay

This cabin is clean and cozy. All the beds were very comfortable and we loved hanging out with our kids in the main area. The view is amazing and the quick drive to Blowing Rock made for a great weekend.

Mountain Heaven

The cabin was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and all around better than expected. The back deck and the view are awesome ! The location is conveniently close to town, yet it feels like you are in the wilderness. Everything you need for a stay in the mountains. Found great food in Blowing Rock at Papa Joe's Italian, the Woodlands Barbeque and the Foggy Rock.

This piece of mountain paradise is convenient to Blowing Rock and all the surrounding attractions. The view from porch and firepit is stunning. Well stocked, well furnished, and easy communication with owner. Thanks to her for easily correcting a booking mistake within a few hours. A Little Piece of Heaven

This little gem far exceeded our expectations! I have spent an extensive amount of time in this part of the NC mountains and this cabin offers one of the best views I've seen! The fire pit overlooking the blue ridge mountain range was stunning and a highlight of our stay. It is soul stirring to watch the sun rise & set over those hills each day. My twins loved the jacuzzi tub in the master. The cabin is quaint and cozy. We are grateful for comfortable beds in a rental, thank you! And one of the best parts was being able to bring our two beloved dogs given this is pet friendly. The owners, Paul & Lisa were delightful and extremely pleasant and easy to work with. We did not want to leave and will return again for another visit as soon as possible! Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven with our family!

Charming & cozy cabin with a great view!!

We spent three nights at the Elk Ridge cabin over Christmas and we are so glad we did! The minute you walk in you feel right at home! We noticed right away how clean everything was and how nice it smelled! I instantly felt comfortable, and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. The owners had a Christmas tree up with charming ornaments and the whole cabin smelled of pine. All of the furniture was super comfy, and there is a nice open/updated kitchen with an island. We cooked a couple nights and had everything we needed. Pots, pans, dishes, can opener etc. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking a breeze. There is a beautiful long range view of the mountains which is unobstructed- we loved watching the sunrise from the living area and the deck. You also have a view from the master on the main level which was nice! The bed in there had soft linens and a comfy mattress, there was also a flatscreen TV. The Master bath had a nice updated/tiled shower, granite vanity, and a big jetted tub! The downstairs had two bedrooms with a bathroom in between and a good sized laundry room with everything you need. Everything looked clean & new. There is a fire pit outside which we used two nights, they even had marshmallow roasting sticks along with the firewood. Perfect setup to make s’mores with a beautiful tranquil view! There are a few other cabins on the same road, but with the distance in between and the wooded areas it felt private and peaceful, which we loved! If you are looking for a cozy updated cabin in the woods with a great view this is it! We didn’t want to leave!

Perfect mountain getaway.

The cabin is spotless. Comfy beds. The views are amazing. Overall a wonderful experience. We especially enjoyed time on the deck and watching the sunrise.

ASU graduation and Mother’s Day weekend

This was the perfect spot to celebrate both an ASU graduation and Mother’s Day. I have learned over the years that staying in Boone during graduation and move-out weekend can be awful. This cabin was close enough to get everywhere we needed in a decent amount of time but also extremely quiet and calm. Bonus - we were able to see the rare northern lights while we were there!

Perfect in every way

We go to blowing rock a couple times a year and this cabin was perfect in every way! Great location, very clean, well stocked and so comfortable; not to mention the pictures don’t do the incredible views justice! Cozy Cabin for Blah Weather

The cabin was clean and everything was accurate that was described in the listing. However, we were disappointed by the nonstop rain, which prevented us from enjoying the deck in the fire pit. The clouds and fog were also thick. We did enjoy rest indoors by the fireplace. Hoping for better summer weather next time!

Luxurious

The cabin was all and more than we expected. Lisa was quick to answer our calls and helpmus trouble shoot the fireplace. The mattresses, pillows , sheets and towels were one on the real luxuries we got with this cabin. Weall commented on the good night sleep we got. The scenery, decor and location was perfect for us.We will we renting this cabin or other rentals from Lisa.

Great cabin with an amazing view!

We just spent 3 nights in this wonderful cabin which has modern amenities and an old mountain feel to it. We cooked a couple of meals in the fully stocked kitchen and did not long for anything. The smart TV's and uber comfortable beds made the evenings appreciated, the firepit, view and trees perfect for our hammock made for a perfect Friday afternoon/night. Lisa was perfect, followed up with us and made us feel very welcome. We will visit again!

Gorgeous!

What a beautiful property with a stunning view! Everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy, exactly as advertised. My husband especially loved the grill.
