My partner & I stayed here as we had a wedding nearby & the B&B was very nearby. Upon arrival Annna was incredibly friendly & welcoming & during the entire stay you felt more like you was staying with family rather than at a hotel. Anna could not do enough for us & was very helpful, she even dropped us off & picked us up from the wedding as it was difficult to arrange a taxi which made our lives much easier. She also gave recommendations of nearby restaurants & other things to do nearby. Very happy with our stay & highly recommend

Our stay at Yew Tree Cottage was perfect. I immediately felt welcomed and at home. Our host was charming, engaging and thoughtful. Breakfast was tailored to our preferences each day. All of this in stunning surroundings both at the cottage and the wider countryside. The nearby village of Pembridge was also charming, and we ate well and for a reasonable price at The New Inn.

Delightful b&b in the Cotswolds. An old cottage surrounded by a lovely garden. Anna is welcoming and serves a lovely breakfast with good coffee. A bit hard to find as there are no road signs. Be sure to check directions before you leave on your trip.

A unique stay in a beautiful house and garden off the beaten track. Our host, Anna, went out of her way to make us feel very welcome in her ancient and characterful home. A tranquil location with beautiful rural views but still handy for accessing historic Pembridge and it's range of facilities.

We spent 3 nights at this B&B during the main dump of snow in March 2018. It is a lovely old cottage located about a mile from the nearest village of Pembridge, where there are several pubs & cafes that you can eat for reasonable prices ... we ate at the Red Lion at lunchtime where we each had a lovely main course for £5.80, pudding for around £3.70 and a pint of lovely cider for £3.40. We did a lot of walking in the surrounding countryside while we were there. The cottage is off the beaten track, so at night there is no light pollution and it is completely dark ... great for a good nights sleep. We stayed in the double room, and had use of the lovely lounge where there is a log-burner and TV. The owner is very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely old house with lots of character. Our hostess, Anna, was so welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and warm, especially with the wood burner lit in the lounge below. Yummy breakfast in the morning. The cottage is situated down a country lane, so very rural and quiet, but close to Pembridge with lovely pubs, restaurants and a fantastic tea room/village shop. No passing traffic, just horses, sheep and chickens in nearby fields and a garden full of wild birds. Lovely!

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at Yew Tree Cottage. The setting is beautiful and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Anna, the owner, was extremely hospitable and helpful during our stay; offering tea and biscuits in the afternoon, making bookings for us to eat at local pubs and cooking us wonderful breakfasts each morning. We would love to return.

Staying at the Yew Tree really was a fantastic time for me. It’s so off the beaten track but so close in the same sense. At the end of a little track is the cottage, and it really is a cottage. a beautiful old cottage. Driving out for dinner was literally 4 minutes away “The new inn” which was a lovely traditional pub. The room I stayed in had a fantastic bed, great WiFi signal and I had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. The owner was very welcoming and I was happy paying her for my hotel stay. Too often I stay in hotels and people are just working at the hotel, I often think the money feeds some fat cat who isn’t even at the hotel! We should be more local. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stayed here whilst visiting family nearby and can highly recommend. The cottage is in a beautiful location, where you can go on a nice circular walk around the local countryside, including passing Dunkertons Cider Mill, if you fancied a popping in there as you pass.
Anna was very helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast was lovely and there was ample to fill you up.
If you want to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful stay with lovely scenery, I would recommend staying here. I will definitely want to stay here again when I next visit my family.

Very comfortable. Wooded, quiet lane with dark skies for star gazing. 2 bedrooms - 1 at each end of the cottage & each with their own staircase, so very private. Relaxed, friendly and accommodating host Anna made us very welcome and at home, and had put a lot of thought into the little extras that make such a difference - umbrella & shopping bag in bedroom, choice of duvet weight, handmade soap & selection of toiletries. Would happily stay again and I'm sure so will you.

Excellent two night business stay. Located in a quiet location at the end of a local by-way this is one for those looking for peace and quiet and dark skies. Yet only a 20-25 minute walk to the village of Pembridge with pubs/restaurant, cafe and shop. I used the New Inn for evening meals, good value and quality. Yew Tree has beautiful gardens, and the cottage is a delight. The host is most welcoming and you are assured a good breakfast. Will book again when working in the area and I to return with my partner for a mini break.
