"You get what you pay for, and this is an affordable option in Barre. I stayed in a “single room” and was surprised at how big it was, very spacious, two beds. The room was very clean. The bed was comfy enough, the A/C worked great on an unseasonably hot weekend. It’s very dated, and the property and furnishings look to be at least 30 years old. I stayed in the cheapest room type, though, and it sounds like the other types of rooms are a bit nicer. I stayed w a large group and saw some of them.
The person at the front desk was very friendly, and understanding when I forgot to return my (physical, metal) key and had to send it back w someone else staying there on my checkout day.
The breakfast is very simple, continental, but they do have a waffle maker for a hot option, and the coffee was good enough.
It’s very close to the grocery store, super convenient.
If I ever needed to go back to Barre, I wouldn’t mind staying here again."
"The place was very easy to get to The instructions I got punched into the GPS got me there no problem The cabin is very cozy I wish I could just take it home with me. We really enjoyed our stay there The weather was perfect I couldn't have asked for better weather Friday was a little hot but the rest of the weekend was great there is a lake down the hill Make sure you try it out I definitely would go there again."
"A bit older of an establishment but it was charming and the breakfast that is provided was like a personal.picnic all packed and ready to be.picked.up in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable."
"This Inn was a quiet, and convenient stay. The room was rather large and had a great view of the Vermont hills. The young man working the front desk and breakfast room the next morning was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was rather sparse, but we were able to get some coffee and toast before heading out."
Lakefront Log Home in White Mountains! Dog-Friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"Great location with stunning views of the Lower Mountain Lake. Close proximity to Woodsville for shopping at Walmart to get food/provisions. Nice size kitchen for preparing food/meals which saves on dining out at restaurants. Although we did really enjoy Rek Lis Brewing Co in Littleton, highly recommend visiting there and the many shops on Main St. Overall experience was excellent and definitely recommend this rental to family and friends."
