"The house is beautifully decorated and bountifully stocked. The internet speed is fast and reliable, but we used our time to unplug and put down devices. I really enjoyed the pastoral views. We got to see green rolling hills, cows, the mountains in the background and lots of backyard birds. It is a very special property."

"Property is close to Lynchburg bit lets you enjoy the country setting. It is a great place to unwind and hang by the firepit. Everything you need is there and the host was available when needed. We had no reason to contact the host as the property was exactly as described. We will rent again!"

We arrived at the house to find everything clean and ready even though we were a couple hours early. The house is a century old so floors creak and some doors stick a bit. "Entire family enjoyed the stay at Second Creek Farm. Cozy accommodations offering comfort, peacefulness, connection with nature, and welcoming owners. The property is lovely and access to hiking, crabtree falls, wintergreen, and other nearby locations is fantastic. If you are searching for a place to unwind this is it.
