Okay, I gave a poor housekeeping rating, but let me explain. When we arrived, the room was clean. Absolutely no complaints with the cleanliness upon arrival. The issue came after our first night. Maybe theyre just different, but every other hotel Ive ever stayed at, housekeeping visits your room daily (makes the beds, leaves fresh towels, washcloths). We left out for a day of activities the morning after we arrived. Got back to the hotel around 11pm to find there had been no housekeeping visit. No fresh towels, no washcloths. The biggest reason this was an issue was because we hadnt been left enough bathroom linens to begin with. We rented a suite that sleeps 6 people and there were only 2 bath towels, 4 hand towels, and 2 washclothes in the room to begin with. Since the same 2 bath towels were used by 6 people after showering that morning they were pretty much soaking wet. Had I known they werent going to leave fresh ones I wouldve hung them to dry. Being I expected new ones, I tried to be courteous and left all the wet linens in a pile in front of the bathroom door. The hand towels had to be used in the bathroom as a make shift bath mat. Our suite (314) had a major issue with the shower curtain. The shower rod was either installed incorrectly or has broken down and the curtain wont stay closed on the end closest to the shower head so the floor basically ends up with tons of water on it after showering.
