Bourbon Trail House

We had a wonderful stay at the Bourbon Trail House. The property was clean, the decor was fun and perfect for the area. We would highly recommend this property and we will stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Great Stay for My Husband's 50th BDay Trip

My husband and some friends were in town for a golfing and bourbon-tasting tour for his birthday. He said the house was surprisingly large and nicely situated. It was a great spot for a fun weekend with lots of space for their group of four men.

Distilleries and Horses.

We met family in to tour distilleries and horse farms. This was the perfect spot for our family from the spacious bedrooms and baths. To the kitchen to both hang out spaces and back yard it was perfect. The historical charm and modern convenience were perfection. We loved the hot tub, fire-pit and game areas were great for enjoying the evenings.

Beautiful home in great location

We had a lovely stay at this property. It is beautifully restored/renovated, very well equipped, and in a great location - walkable to Main St. and a short drive to many distilleries. Things to note: Master bedroom is very brightly lit at night from street lights and neighbor's outside lights so bring an eye mask!

This was a great rental for sure. The house is has a great location, was amazing and well equipped. We took in the Bourbon Trail for a few days and enjoyed family game time at the house. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Frankfort charm at its best!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming home in Frankfort, KY with another couple. The house was perfect for two couples—clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were cozy, and we loved spending time in the fenced yard, using the fire pit, grill, and hot tub. It’s located on a beautiful historic street, close to golf and several distilleries. The hosts were incredibly helpful with great local recommendations and excellent communication. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with friends

Best VRBO house!

This house was amazing! Even better than described! Beds and pillows are so comfortable! We loved the speakeasy room and spent all of our time while in the house there. Such a great location! So close to so many distilleries. The hot tub was great too! We loved this house!!!

Gem in the Heart of Frankfort

The location was absolutely perfect, putting us right in the heart of everything we wanted to see and do. The accommodation itself was lovely, with a charming bourbon-themed decor that really captured the spirit of the region. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. it had everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. Steve, our host, was absolutely wonderful. He was responsive, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Bourbon Trail Sibs Trip

Book this place now!! This adorable home is in a prime location for all of your bourbon trail activities. The decor is just as lovely as pictured, and the beds are very comfortable. The hot tub provided a relaxing spot for us girls to unwind, while our hubbies kicked back around the fire pit. We began each morning lazily with coffee around the whiskey room’s gas fireplace. It was divine!

Brent’s 40th Birthday Stay

Perfect location for the bourbon tours we went on, and perfect decor for the occasion. Everyone loved the property and we even got to enjoy the hot tub despite the hurricane weather. Everyone slept great on the beds and were happy with everything. Thank you!

Weekend with Friends

The Bluegrass Bourbon house was great for 3 couples with the three bedrooms and baths, large well-equipped kitchen, and Speakeasy room. It was too cold to use the firepit and hot tub, so we plan to return again in warmer weather. The host was very quick to respond and attentive to my questions. He made the rental experience wonderful, excellent host.

Perfect space for a couples getaway!

The house was a perfect fit for three couples. Each couple had their own private space and there was plenty of room to enjoy each other's company in the speak easy themed den. We were all especially impressed with the amenities that were available including plenty of dish and laundry soap, toilet paper, toweling, garbage bags, etc. If you are a fan of Buffalo Trace, this location is ideal. We were able to stop in each day to take advantage of the once every 90 days allotment of Eagle Rare, Blanton's, Weller, and E.H. Taylor. The drives to both Lexington and Bardstown are also quick and convenient. This house is truly perfect for enjoying all there is to offer for bourbon lovers.

My first experience renting an Air-b/b

I recently traveled to Kentucky for an NCLEX review in Western Kentucky, and let me tell you, I made a mistake with my location! The home I booked was about an hour and a half away, but it was absolutely worth it. This place was gorgeous, with so many thoughtful details everywhere you looked. Steve and Tricia were amazing hosts—super attentive and quick to answer all my questions. I was initially hesitant to book, but I’m so glad I did; I honestly don’t know why I waited so long! The home was not only welcoming but also immaculate, with incredibly comfy beds that made it feel like a true retreat. Each room was beautifully decorated, showcasing stunning design. My family and I were genuinely sad when it was time to leave. I can’t wait to come back! If I could give it a rating, it would be a solid 10 out of 10!

Perfect location

We had a lovely stay in this adorable home. Every detail was thought about in the decor of this house. The location is perfect for those early morning Buffalo Trace runs. Steve was very communicative and responded very quickly. We will definitely stay again.

Great place!

This house was great. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. The bourbon theme is fun and the location great. What we really appreciated was the well-stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, garbage bags, spices, and ice!!! This is really helpful. Being able to arrive at a location and cook without needing to buy the basics or plan to make something only to discover the necessary tools lacking was awesome. Finally, the guide the host provided was great. We would absolutely recommend this place, and definitely stay here again!
