We loved Askrigg and the cottage.

We loved Askrigg and the cottage. Although I was disappointed that there wasn’t a garden, we could walk out into beautiful countryside virtually from the door in every direction. Spent the last week of October in the Dales.

Spent the last week of October in the Dales. Fabulous week and the cottage was perfect. Very cosy and comfortable with everything you could ever need and such a great location. Lots of great walks on the doorstep or a short drive away. The Kings Arms is a great local pub and just across the road from the cottage. Will definitely stay here again.

You won't find a better cottage than this one.

You won't find a better cottage than this one. It is superbly kitted out with everything you need and very cosy and comfortable. Private off street parking is a bonus and the central village location means there are three very nice pubs on the doorstep, all serving excellent drinks and food. There is a good selection of walks from the village and more a short drive away.

Excellent 2 bed cottage with log fire.

Excellent 2 bed cottage with log fire. 2 bathrooms, one is an en-suite. Great location in the centre of the Yorkshire Dales with walks from the front door and others an easy drive. Useful walking map in the entrance boot room. Dedicated parking outside the front door, but turning can be tight. Extra luxury would be a coffee machine and pods.
