“It was a busy weekend, we arrived for the 4th of July festivities. We parked at the garage but needed to wait a while for a space. The Carriage Way provided a card for free parking (two nights) and also gave us a gift (champagne) for the parking inconvenience! Our room was on the main floor right in the main lobby but it was surprisingly quiet. We loved all the amenities ( free water, sodas, and even red and white wine and homemade cookies). We were in the heart of the town, literally minutes……

“Room was beautifully decorated. Staff felt like family. There was no pool. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very nice. Night time wine with cheese board in the courtyard was also delightful. Dog friendly in and outside of the cafe. The property is also home to several shops and a distillery. Most rooms are walk ups. But ours was accessible by elevator”

The wait staff were beyond exceptional - Belinda, Toni, and the cook (didn't get his name) were just the nicest, most pleasant people you could ask for. We looked forward to going to breakfast every morning. The room was very nice and clean, however one thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the floors. There was sand on our floors for days after we went to the beach. Again, the cleaning staff were always……

“The pros: Location, right in the heart of the historic district Large king size bed Cons: Parking, it's a few blocks away and they charge you extra for it plus extra for housekeeping May need earplugs as close to bars (depending on time of day) Needs some updating- the tub was peeling, there was a towel rack not fulling attached to the wall, a missing curtain rod It's labeled a bed and breakfast but there's no breakfast”
