“The property is excellent; the facilities are excellent BUT some of the staff need training in hospitality especially for an exceptional property in a historic area. I have been twice in the last 3 weeks due to work, and it was the same both times. Both times, I had multiple experiences at the front desk where staff didn't even look up from what they were doing and said, "Can I help you?" with exasperated facial expressions that appeared as if I was an annoyance or chore. “From the moment we arrived, it was a welcoming, friendly environment! We toured the Inn, which is beautiful and clean. There were delicious cookies in the dining room. The room was clean. The historic vibes were amazing. The bathroom was clean. It is in the perfect location. You just walk outside, and you are on the main street, yet it's still very quiet at night. Parking was easy. “Very clean and quiet with several amenities including free breakfast and a pool with long open hours. Hit a snag at check in when our room wasn’t ready, but I believe that is not a regular occurrence and they were just unexpectedly short staffed. There was a woman named Zoe working the front desk and she was wonderful! The bar was also not well stocked. We would stay here again though! It’s definitely a wonderful option for larger families to stay in a suite rather than booking two rooms.”
