「The property location was perfect, and beautiful. Lovely local pub to walk to. The house was nicely decorated and had a homely feel. However the smell of damp dog was overwhelming, which didn’t suit us! Additionally the bedding smelt damp, and the towels of stale smoke. So it was necessary for me to do a couple of loads of washing during our stay. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, and the heating was already on when we arrived which made it feel instantly welcoming. The host communicated brilliantly throughout and made everything very easy. The cottage had every amenity you could need, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, and even board games. The location was perfect as well, right next to the pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!」

「We really enjoyed our stay, although we do like a quirky cottage and this is definitley that!Decoration and furniture was lovely and the photos are accurate. It is quite dark inside but with lighting this wasn't an issue for us.There are some crazy sloping ceiling upstairs. The most severe we have come across, which would probably cause issues for some. 「Overall this is a very pleasant comfortable cottage. Our one criticism, would be not enough crockery, why install a dishwasher when you need to wash after every meal. Surely having a dishwasher is so you can wash a large load in one go, thus saving water, and energy.A few more different size plates would be useful.Otherwise very satisfied, lovely and quiet patio, comfortable bed and seating.」

「We would definalty recommend elsies cottage we had a lovely Xmas break with my family Jane and Rob made sure we had a lovely time and so helpful and we arrived to a lovely welcome basket aswell as fresh bread and a lovely fresh cake 🎂 eggs milk everything you would need. Beautiful setting the cottage was stunning and so clean and inviting. We were a family of 5 adults and a dog plenty of room didn't feel cramped... xx」
