Overall, the hotel is great. I'm a business traveler and would recommend the hotel for business. This trip however, I was on vacation, and the hotel is clean and modern. Has a great view of the Pacific Ocean, and is across the street from a shopping center with several food options. The hotel staff is helpful. The only negative, and it does stand out quite a bit for me - is the noise level. Every single surface in the hotel is hard, so noise bounces off everything. From the moment we walked in to check-in it was an overwhelming tidal wave of sound. We heard every voice, music, car, chair, cellphone, elevator, it was honestly too much. But the worst are the chairs in the restaurant which you can't help but drag because they are heavy and they make an awful noise! I did mention it to the hostess, that felt pads would make a world of difference. I do hope the hotel does something about the chairs. My friend on this trip wears a hearing aide, and the compounded effect of many types of noises were too much for her as well. Other than sound, you'll have a great stay.

Exemplary staff and service! Lovely views of the ocean and Miraflores. I would highly recommend! There was a little building maintenance work going on so I didn’t leave the top review for property conditions. Still maintenance is a good thing and the inconvenience was minimal

Staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful, polite and professional. The lobby, bar, restaurant and coffee shop were all very well presented and maintained. Our room had just been refurbed and the room was sufficiently spacious and the bathroom area was really nice and spacious too. There were some drawbacks: the TV did not work for a couple of days (and after drawing Management's attention to this matter, they compensated us by giving us access to to the Executive Lounge, which was much appreciated). The other issue that we had with the room, which consisted of two Queen beds, was that there are no chairs or desks in the room and so working from the room or dining in-room is not possible. We had a champagne breakfast sent to the room for my wifes birthday, which we ate sitting on each bed! This is a significant defeciency for a five star hotel. We mentioned this to staff but were informed that this was the standard for the refurbed room design. The hotel is beautifully placed in Miraflores with a fabulous view of the ocean. I would recommend this hotel, but only if you can do without any chairs or a desk in your room.

Stayed at the JW Marriott in Miraflores, excellent choice! The staff is polite and professional. The hotel also helped us with hiring the CMV car service we needed for our business trip. We had a professional and friendly experience using this company. The service we received was outstanding. Julio Ramirez, our driver went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and got us on time to each destination of our busy itinerary. He did this safely and on time. The auto was in a spotless conditions, as his graceful service. He made sure we were ok at all times, asking if the temperature was ok, etc. His driving skills were superb. He gracefully made us us feel comfortable and relax. Even recommended a great seafood restaurant when we asked for one and took us there as well. Julio is a driver you dream about while visiting a foreign country on a business trip. I definitely recommend CMV services, and most certainly will ask for Julio again on my next trip.

We where told our room would be ready ,but we arrived it was not, we had other reservations planned and had to rush to get ready and was treated like we done something wrong. Muy bonito hotel, lo están remodelándo y a las 9 de la mañana empieza demasiado ruido y huele mucho a pintura dentro de los cuartos. Tuvimos un inconveniente con unas cosas que dejamos sin querer en el hotel, necesitábamos mucha atención y rapidez para poder resolverlo, pero las personas encargadas de ayudar no fueron tan amables. Tuvimos que llamarlos varias veces para rogar que nos ayudaran de manera rápida, y la respuesta era que tenían que hacer un protocolo y se iban a tardar. Finalmente perdimos un vuelo por la falta de rapidez en la ayuda. Siento que no le pusieron la atención necesaria.
