“Great location, well equipped and helpful host”

“The hosts are a very welcoming couple. Always nearby to help if you needed anything. So helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. Clean accommodation with modern renovation and appliances (the accommodation is a gite beside main house).Lovely pool and bar area as well as attached woodland to explore. Perfect location within a few minutes drive of the nearest supermarket. Thank you Laura and Peter for making our stay so enjoyable. Definitely planning our return ”

“A beautiful well equip comfortable cottage in the middle of the French countryside with its own private swimming pool and large garden.The cottage is several miles outside the town, so a car is necessary. We received good prompt information and tips from the owner. And received good local advice from Bill,the local rep.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at this place with the whole family! The house was really clean and had al lot of space for everyone to spread out comfortably.The pool was honestly the star of the show as we spent hours in there and it was perfect for both the kids and adults. Location-wise, you get the best of both worlds as it is peaceful and quiet, but only 10 minutes to the shops where you can grab anything you need.One thing that really impressed us was how helpful the house manager was. “Second time round, and it was even better than last year. The Atelier feels like home (we are even a bit jealous of whoever is occupying it right now), and is an ideal place to rest, relax and recharge your batteries. Peaceful, lovely, charming, and close to nice towns (Ruffec) or cities (La Rochelke, Poitiers, Angouleme). We do hope to go back soon to "our" gîte!”

“We throughly enjoyed our stay with Amanda and Graham, such lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us, it felt like we were staying with Friends. The gite was beautiful, home from home with French charm, it had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and the pool area was lovely and clean. We visited the local market in Lezay, lots of small towns with in 15 minutes for supermarkets and boulangeries”
