“We had a great stay at Stony Rise Lodge! We booked in advance and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Executive Suite on arrival. The property is well appointed, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. Special thanks to Donna, Dave, Ash and Roscoe for your hospitality and all the love and care that clearly goes into running this property. We would happily recommend to others and will be back! “No kitchen in our room, had a toaster, microwave, jug, fridge but no place to wash dishes except for a very small sink in bathroom. Nice new block out curtains, bed comfy, pillows were not. No table and chairs but it did have a 2 seater couch. Only place in town that served food was the pub.”

“Property and room was exquisite. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very curt and rude staff member who seemed upset that she needed to wait for us to travel here for the evening on a long weekend. She phoned us 3 times confirming our arrival time. We told her it would be around a certain time and she mentioned to us that as it was a long weekend, they wanted to leave earlier then the stated check in time. When we checked out the next morning, the cleaning staff was there at 10:59am and the……
