“Everyone and everything was great. The food not so much. Room service was a crap shoot. Sometimes food showed up hot. Other times it was 2 hours and not hot. Breakfast and the service was always good. Dinner wasn’t. No coffee shop no ice cream. It’s a 35dollar cab ride one way to Roadtown. However we’d go back. The pool was beautiful. The beach amazing. Quiet. Warm water.”

“It was a nice hotel for a taste of local culture. Although the place is dated, everything was clean. The check in/check out woman was very helpful and contacted a taxi for us anytime we needed one. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The downside is that you are not allowed early check in - we got in 5 minutes early but I wouldn't plan on that. “What a wonderful place to stay especiially before and after your sailing adventure. The hotel receptionist at the front desk Sheran was amazing! She greeted us with a huge smile and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. She was especially helpful with local knowledge and gave amazing dinner recommendations! ”

“The manager Ashur was most helpful and responsive. They responded to minor issues promptly. We loved the large space and stunning view. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. “This hotel is a hidden gem! The lady at the front desk was a jewel! I called her 3x before we even arrived to ask her questions about early checkin and leaving our bags with her before we could checkin. She was so pleasant and helpful. “Sugar Mill was beyond my expectations. They have the friendliest staff and fantastic food. We were two couples who rented two King size bedrooms with ocean views. Some notable staff were Jean our dinner waitress. She was so lovely and helpful with her suggestions, Destiny, and Estephany were pleasant as well. At the beach bar Carlos our bartender was the man!! “Great ocean view rooms with incredible decks on the water. Food was top notch for all meals and the beach is gorgeous with first class cabanas. Some negatives: the pool, gym and pickleball / tennis courts are across a small road. Not a huge deal but not ideal. Lots of mosquitos poolside so be careful. But the biggest negative is that the ocean is not swim-able due to huge rocks in the water. I saw zero people in the ocean over my 3 day stay. Zero! Maybe with some water shoes it could be done……

“Truly a 5 star resort! Having a butler was a unique experience as was the having no room keys (that’s another first for me). We had some rain on our trip so a few more rainy day options would be a good addition. Loved that all water toys were included, find a kayak, pool noodle, stand up paddle board, you could use it.
