“Been coming here for a few years as its such a good location and generally nice hotel. Made the mistake of booking a ground floor room, was lovely having access to the gardens with patio doors but not so much being kept awake by the people in the room above us... literally every conversation, footstep and bedroom gymnastics. The staff were great 10/10. The location is quiet and lovely by the river. Very convenient for walking into town and lots of parking.”

Easy to get to restaurants, shops, pubs and public transport. Not sure about parking as we travelled by train. “Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Views of the river Avon and only short walk to the cathedral. They also offer a van ride service into Salisbury in the evenings so you don't need to drive in and park for dinner!”

“Very good location to stay near the town center and a short drive away from Stonehenge! The only thing I wish was improved was the plumbing at the guestroom toilets. There was no sufficient water flow and you need to flush 10 times. Shower and sink worked great, though.”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……
