The hotel was in a very convenient location. We loved the Riverside view from our room. The room is both large enough and had a cozy feeling. Our staff was very responsive to all questions, and gave some great recommendations for things to see and places to eat. When we inquired about a ride to the airport the next morning, they gave us a wonderful resource that served our needs very well. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience in a very historical building.

Location was nice but hotel lacks amenities.

Nice location but not easy to check in. Signage/direction to enter building was lacking. Finally getting someone to answer call button was frustrating. No direction on what to do upon entering outer security door. Reception was on 3rd floor, not easy to find it. No elevators. Getting luggage to and from room was a chore.

Terrible smell

Location is great. Staff are helpful. But the room had this horrible smell coming out of the bathroom that we felt like we were sleeping in a public toilet. Wished we avoided this place.

Basic property with no frills attached but I would stay there again. The location was perfect, in the old town, and it was very clean and quiet. There is street parking and garage parking. The street parking we had to pay the meter for but it was easy to do with the downloaded parking ap. On Sundays parking is free. You can park anywhere there are solid white lines on the road (yellow lines are for the residents) and we always found a spot close to the hotel. The front desk is helpful. They are not there 24/7. The hotel is up three flights of stairs but the receptionist offered and carried my bag up. This was a great stay and I would stay there again.

Just in front of the river, near the main attractions of the city. The room had a good space and was very clean. Point of attention: there isn’t a lift and we had to carry out luggage to the 3rd floor. When leaving the hotel, my son fall from the stairs and got his arm injured (there was a painting service on the 2nd floor and they removed the handrails and covered the steps with a sleepery material)

WARNING! This was not a hotel, it was a sauna. This place doesn't have any air conditioning and when the city is 89 F (32C) degrees outside, like when I stayed there, it's like you're in a sauna sweating non-stop. They say they offer fans to help out - the fans in both my rooms were broken. One had no blades on the fan, one just blatantly didn't work. The building has small windows as well and no airflow so the rooms themselves are even hotter than the outside. Think you can sleep in a 96F (36C) degree room? Think you can sleep while your body is pouring out sweat and you're drenched? It's impossible. Other things that make this place a really bad choice - there's no plugs in the room! Like 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the main room, where the fan is plugged in (if it worked). My bathroom smelled horrible, and I think the smell of the sewers was coming up through the shower drain. I felt really bad for the poor girl working in the lobby (on the 4th floor) - she was absolutely drenched in sweat and red in the face. I had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at this place and could not possibly stay a 2nd night. I left a day early even though I had already paid for the 2nd night. I'd advise everyone to look elsewhere.

Perfekte Lage! Es war sehr heiß in Ljubljana und wir buchen eigentlich nur Unterkünfte mit Klimaanlage. Scheinbar haben wir beim Buchen nicht genau nachgesehen, aber dort ist keine Klimaanlage. Die wird auch nicht behauptet, daher können wir uns schwerlich darüber beklagen. Aber es war so heiß, dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war.

Fint hotell om man har lavt budsjett

Fint hotell om du er på lavbudsjett! Stort og rent rom, med alt du trenger. Hotellet har ikke air-condition, så det blir veldig varmt - selv med vifte. Hotellet ligger i 3. etasje uten heis - greit å vite om man er dårlig til beins eller har tung koffert.
