nice stay in Ljubljana

The owner of the guesthouse is very very nice and helpful, he did suggest a lot during my visit in Ljubljana. the house is on the side of the rvier, nice view. generally I have to say this is good choice with the best price. a little small room I booked, but quite ok.

Clean and Quiet but difficult to locate.

30 minutes to find this place after arriving via bus. There is no sign at the street and bushes obscure the front of the apartment. But once we located it, everything else was super. The place was clean and quiet. I will stay here again. I just think it would help if in addition to the wonderfully detailed instructions on how to use the door and about the house rules, it would be great to have a map included in the instructions because even Google Maps was totally confused.

Все было великолепно! Чисто, уютно, аккуратно, стильно и функционально!!!! Удобное месторасположение отеля! Хозяева очень доброжелательные, подсказали потрясающие места, которые обязательно необходимо посетить в Словении! Спасибо большое!!!!!

Nos alojamos por Dos noches. No nos limpiaron la habitación ni cambiaron las toallas. No tiene aire acondicionado y l habitación húmeda . Te tienes que quitar los zapatos al entrar y usar unas zapatillas comunes par ir por la casa. Solo vimos a la señora de la limpieza a la cual Le preguntamos por la dirección de un sitio y no hablaba más que esloveno. No hay ni check in ni check out. Es self-service. El baño era compartido, pero amplio y limpio con algún producto de aseo. Andando al centro media hora. LO PEOR: ESTUVIMOS MÁS DE MEDIA HORA BUSCANDO EL SITIO. ESTA UN POCO ESCONDIDO Y DIFÍCIL DE LOCALIZAR. EL GPS NO LO ENCUENTRA BIEN.

We were in a family room which was very large and had a double and 2 single beds. Shared bathroom with one other room. No pressure on bathroom so didn't feel like it was being shared. Again bathroom was spacious containg shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin all very clean. Access to kitchen and dining room with balcony overlooking the river, and lounge if required. Easy access to town by bus. Only 1.5 Euros. Very good value for money. Access by pin number. We did't see staff during our stay. Only downside was the PIN access we arrived one night PIN number worked but door never opened. Knob kept turning without opening. No one was around to let us in. A guest let us in in the end.Also entrance door is very dark and could do with a light so you could see what you were doing. Also difficult to find as no signposts only found through satellite on phone. Superbly clean throughout

Clean, spacious and quiet

Spotlessly clean and spacious private room in a quiet building situated next to the river. There is a useful communal dining room, with a microwave, plates and cutlery, and a comfortable communal lounge. The host was very welcoming and helpful- be prepared for a very thorough induction from him when you arrive! The guest house is a short walk to a bus stop from where you can get a bus into town which takes 5-10 mins. Highly recommend the Ljubljana card if you're staying for a few days, as you can use it on the public transport as well as many attractions in the city, making it excellent value.

Behagelig ophold

Ljubljana er virklig en fin by med mange unge, glade mennesker. Midtbyen er bilfri, fin ordning med billig (1 EU) citybike og god affaldssortering. Guest House Soul ligger godt. Tæt på cykelstation, mellem bymidte og indkøbscenter. Det er med fælles toilet, men meget velholdt og rent. (Opdagede jeg først ved ankomst, men det var ikke noget problem). Godt stort værelse og fin service og hjælp med at finde ting at se. Top service.

Sehr schönes Haus, wirklich sauber und sehr nettes Personal. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zur Straße die sehr laut war, das sind wir nicht gewöhnt. Beim nächsten Urlaub möchte ich doch lieber mein eigenes Bad. Ansonsten war es wirklich ein tolles Haus.

Guesthouse très agréable et conviviale

L'hôtel nous a contactés avant notre séjour afin de nous rappeler que la salle de bain serait commune. Nous en avons profité pour demander comment faire pour avoir une navette entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel, nous avons reçu une réponse très rapidement avec toutes les informations. A notre accueil, tout était prêt, il ne restait qu'à régler la chambre et les taxes. On nous a également donné des informations quant aux activités à faire et aux lieux à visiter. Nous avons opté pour la location de vélos (style Velib), pour 1 euro la semaine, possibilité d'utiliser les vélos en libre service. Ce fut très pratique et nous n'avons utilisé que ce moyen de transport. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Les lieux communs également. Juste un tout petit bémol concernant le bruit, car notre chambre donnait sur la rue passante mais nous avions prévu les boules Quiès. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et bon. En résumé ce séjour fut très agréable et nous a permis de rencontrer d'autres voyageurs.

I had a difficult experience trying to get to this place from the bus station. The hosts had been kind enough to warn me against taking a taxi (I was yelled at and then cheated) and to tell me which bus number to take but not the direction I needed to take the busses in. After several failed starts, I finally made it to the guesthouse after about an hour. I was greeted promptly and kindly but I could have done without the ten minute lecture on why I should travel with data on my phone or without the tutorial on how to use google maps (mansplaining at its finest). After that initial unfortunate evening, the stay was fine. The house was very clean and well maintained. The pillows are like foam bricks but I spent little time in the room. It’s also a solid half hour to the city center by foot but if you’re like me and only leave the house in the morning and come back late at night and you don’t mind walking to pay a little less for your accommodations, this place is fine.

깨끗하고 조용한 곳

1.시가지와는 약간 떨어져있지만 버스타고(1.2Euro~버스충전카드:2Euro) 약15분정도면 관광지에 접근할수있슴. 2.가정집 같은 분위기,조용하고 깨끗(회장실은 공용이나 넓음)하며 위생관념및 관리가 철저하다는 느낌. 3.유료조식(6Euro)은 시리얼및 웨스턴스타일이고 조식시간은 8~9:30am중 본인이 선택하면 원하는 시간에 맞추어 주인이 토스트및 커피등을 직접 세팅해주는 대접받는 느낌.

Perfect place for a getaway.

I stayed for a long weekend while on a city break. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and very nicely appointed. The hosts are friendly and helpful, very keen to point out the things to see in the city. Lovely views over the river. Shared bathroom worked fine as you only share with 2 other rooms per floor. The only slight downside is that it's a kilometer outside the city centre, but there's a good bus service or a nice walk along the river. Very highly recommended!
