Lovely family run hotel

A lovely family run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate for an overnight stay. There was a beautiful small beach across the road. We found there were not many dining options around, but we did eat at the cafeteria on the beach which served great food. The breakfast was ok and was served by the owners at your table.

Perfect in every way.

The hotel was amazing the best we have ever stayed in. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was beautifuly maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect, the bathroom was spotless and the towels big,white and soft. There was a good menu for an evening meal and the food was delicious. The surroundings were very pretty with views to the mountains and a lovely beach just a couple of minutes walk. We would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately, based on our experience during our stay, I cannot recommend this hotel. Within the first 15 minutes of using our room, we noticed several hairs, including long black hairs, in different places. We immediately reported this to the reception. Unfortunately, the response from the male receptionist was extremely disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering any kind of solution, he told us that the hairs must have been from us and that this was not the hotel's responsibility. Neither my partner nor I have long black hair, so this explanation was simply not plausible from our perspective. What was even more disappointing than the hairs themselves was the way our concern was handled. The receptionist was extremely unfriendly, dismissive and spoke to us in a very condescending manner. At no point did he show any understanding for our complaint, apologize for the condition of the room, or suggest any solution. We would have expected, at the very least, that our concern would be taken seriously and that an attempt would be made to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this interaction left a much worse impression on us than the cleanliness issue itself. Problems can happen, but the way a complaint is handled makes a significant difference to the guest experience. To be fair, the location of the hotel is excellent, with the beach only about a two-minute walk away. Overall, however, we were very disappointed, particularly by the lack of professionalism.

Great location

Very friendly check in. Nice room. Great location near a beautiful beach. Only negative was that the breakfast was very expensive at €24 per person. Otherwise, very nice place.

This property is located a few miles outside of Llanes in a small community. It is just across the street from a small beach. It is a quiet area. Our room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel we stayed in was actually next door to the one pictured and is older so it was not what we were expecting but we had a nice stay.
