Playa Loberia is a short twenty minute walk from San Cristobal's town. The beach is a great place to hang out - with baby sea lions playing in the rock pools and turtles chilling in the shallow water. For that little bit extra carry on walking away from the town along the rocky coast. The scenery is spectacular and you will likely spot boobies swooping in and out of their nests. The best part though is the hundreds of marine iguanas sunbathing on the rocks and posing for photos like this one. The iguanas are everywhere on the Galapagos Island and you quickly get used to seeing them around, but they really are pretty special! Make sure you bring some good shoes (not flip flops) for the walk!
