"We often stay at the Gilman Motel 8. This time I was slightly annoyed at the room. Refrigerator already had food in it and there was a stain on the top sheet of the bed. Outside there weeds growing up in all the garden areas. These are things we noticed. What else might be overlooked. The service was fine, so we will go back.It is a particularly convenient location."

"This is easily the best place to stay in the Paxton-Rantoul area. Clean, rooms are nice. Breakfasts are pretty generic, greasy sausage and gross powdered eggs. I traveled solo but if I'd had kids with me I'd have gone somewhere else for breakfast. Like a lot of places these days, housekeeping is hit & miss. I dont need bedding and towels changed every day but I do need coffee replenished every day. My stay was 6 nights, if you're staying that long bring enough of your own coffee to keep you alive."
