"Having 72 acres to roam, the river, and your own private beach and swimming hole is well worth the drive. This property is ideal for those who value privacy, solitude, and nature more than amenities and frills. It was a very relaxing stay. The owners and property manager were a dream to work with. Everything went super smoothly from that perspective. The lighting in the cabin can be a little dark so bring a headlamp or battery lanterns if you struggle in low light situations. Four-wheel low is also helpful for the last hill before the cabin. AWD can work if you are a driver with off-road experience.Be sure to check out the stars at night from the balcony or the picnic table. There is zero light pollution. I think we saw over 20 different kinds of birds and ducks during our stay."

"The house was exactly how described and the lake/mountain views were beautiful! Many games of pool were played after exploring the Holter Lake area. Host Cody was very responsive to any questions we had. Perfect place to kick back and spend a relaxing week with the family!"

"This is our second stay. The property is exactly as described and perfect for our family. We were close to the Missouri for floating and fishing and boating at Houser Lake. We loved our time there."
