Got there and jumped in the hot tub and it was very lukewarm! Got into a hot bath to warm up and brown water came out. But within maybe 4 inches of water, I ran out of hot water anyhow. So I get out and we decide to relax in the living room until we left for dinner. Sat in the love seat and tried to recline…. Neither side reclined…both sides were broke. So we turn on the tv to maybe pass time with a movie….no signal! Now there is a dvd player but no dvds! So we looked around for games to pass the time….no games! I messaged the owner and he did come over and get the hot tub hotter which made us happy! When we went for dinner we stopped at Walmart and got a few games so it ended good. So if you are planning on staying here I hope the recliners are fixed and bring entrainment like games or dvds. But the place was secluded and spotless and management was very helpful!

So we arrived to a cute cabin cottage but after that is goes downhill. 1st the hottub has seen better days. The ht was scummy and didnt work correctly. The jets have no pressure and the controls do not work properly. Next we settled in on the dual recliner which both sides were broke and would not recline. Then we went bed where we laid on the most worn out uncomfortable mattress ever. Location was the best but the upkeep is minimal.

Fireplace was amazing, kept everything nice and warm. We could grill out on the back patio, in complete peaceful silence. Would recommend anyone wanting to watch movies to make sure to bring DVDs for late night entertainment. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Just ten minutes or less frok in town to the stores.

Yes host was great. Cabin was very nice and clean. Cabin did not have cable or satellite and also no WiFi. Could not watch tv unless you had dvd’s which it would never cross my mind to bring any thinking the cabin would have cable or satellite.

The cabin itself was very cute, clean and nice! They had everything we needed for a great stay! The cabin has a beautiful view of nature. The deck is dreamy!! We saw deer and heard a pack of coyotes at night. There were only a few drawbacks from our visit. The hot tub was dirty. It needs a deep clean especially the jets. We were grossed out to see balls of hair and film on top of the water. There was a smoke detector that was low battery beeping when we arrived. We messaged the host and they came to fix it while we were out that evening. Unfortunately, it started beeping again at 3am. The host was notified and this was handled while we were out during the day.Overall, the host was VERY responsive to our messages and we appreciated that. I would just suggest adding to the property listing details that a 4 wheel drive/AWD Vehicle would be best if visiting in winter. We struggled (FWD) trying to get out of the cabin's drive and into the main drive after a 1.5" snow. We are from West Michigan where we have A LOT of snow so we know how to navigate the weather but still struggled with the terrain. This location was perfect for exploring Hocking Hills.We would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the deck! Thank you for hosting!

Cabin is beautiful, but…. The cabin says it sleeps 4 but it doesn’t. The reclining couch doesn’t work and has a middle console so you can’t lay down. One of us had to sleep in the recliner. If we had booked 4 like we usually do we would have had to sleep on the wooden floor. If you plan to cook bring everything. There were small pots and pans but making spaghetti for 3 was just doable. There wasn’t a casserole dish. There is no cable, no wifi, and no dvds. I bought a Roku and ran my hotspot on my phone. The shower functions but does make a strange noise. I feel the listing needs updated to reflect that it only sleeps 2 and that it has no wifi/cable.

Beautiful cabin. Secluded, cozy, and perfect for a disconnect of the day to day. Near Lake Logan and Old Man Cave in Hocking Hills. There are all types of General Stores in the area as well as a Walmart less than 10 minutes away. What I love was the quietness. We will definitely be back.

Close to shopping and Hocking Hills state park. The cabin was cozy and in a quiet, secluded area and perfect for two. The driveway was a little rough and rutted out at the top if the hill. I would recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter. Great hot tub and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. They do state firewood provided but it is $8 a bundle (seems a little high). The bed is a little hard and could use a new mattress pad and pillows are flat but the livingroom furniture was comfortable. No wifi which would be nice to have with a smart tv since there is no satalite or dish service. (DVD's only) but we played cards/games and still had a wonderful time. The kichen has plenty of supplies but could use some better lighting. The pros out weight the cons so I would recommend this cabin. I had problems getting replies from the owners by email so I recommend calling since they obviously dont follow up on their email account.
