Its impressive warehouse proportions and distinctive structural elements offer a scale and style rarely found in nearby hotels. The space showcases a refined architectural aesthetic softened by warm, welcoming touches throughout. Ideal for couples, solo travellers or business guests, it offers a memorable and unique London stay in a design-led setting.

    **Disclaimer**
    We would like to inform you that this is a ground floor apartment situated on a generally quiet alleyway. However, due to the original metal-framed glazing, it is possible to hear conversations from passersby. Additionally, as the apartment is located on the ground floor, there are residents living above. The property is part of an old warehouse, which typically features heavy doors; occasional noise from these doors may be audible downstairs.

    Please also note that there is a skylight directly above the bed without a blind. During the summer months, this allows ample natural light to enter the room, which may occur early in the morning. If you prefer a darker sleeping environment, we recommend bringing an eye mask. While it is possible to cover the skylight, doing so would block all natural light during the day, which may not be desirable. If you would like the skylight to be covered, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

    The property features a spacious studio layout, with the four-poster bed positioned to the side of the main living area, along with a modern bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. Located on the ground floor, the apartment benefits from convenient step-free access. The sleeping arrangements include a queen sized bed and a single sofa bed suitable for one additional guest, comfortably accommodating two guests with flexibility for a third.

    At the centre of the studio, a striking black metal four-poster bed creates a boutique-style focal point, framed by the apartment’s strong architectural lines. Large industrial-style windows flood the space with natural light, highlighting exposed textures and enhancing the sense of volume and openness. A dining area is seamlessly integrated into the layout, while a statement patterned rug, floating timber shelves, curated artwork and ambient lighting subtly define areas for relaxing and dining without interrupting the cohesive open-plan design.

    The modern kitchen blends effortlessly into the space and features sleek cabinetry, rich wooden worktops, open shelving and contemporary appliances including a built-in oven, hob, fridge and modern sink fittings. Timbers reclaimed from the building during the renovation are used throughout for panelling and doors, reinforcing the character of the original warehouse, which was converted by its architect-owners in twenty eighteen. Metal accents and carefully considered detailing celebrate the building’s heritage, while indoor plants and curated décor add warmth and personality.

    Borough and Bankside are among London’s most architecturally and culturally rich neighbourhoods. Just moments away, Borough Market offers artisan produce and renowned street food, while the South Bank is home to iconic landmarks including Tate Modern, approximately a ten minute walk away, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Millennium Bridge leading to St Paul’s Cathedral. The River Thames provides scenic walking routes framed by some of London’s most celebrated modern and historic architecture, including The Shard with its panoramic city views. The area is celebrated for its exceptional dining scene, with restaurants such as Padella, Flat Iron Square and Hawksmoor Borough, alongside historic pubs including The Anchor Bankside and The George Inn.

    Transport connections are excellent. Southwark Underground station is approximately a five minute walk away, providing access to the Jubilee line with direct links to London Bridge, Canary Wharf and Westminster. Waterloo station is also within walking distance, offering National Rail services and Underground connections via the Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo and Waterloo and City lines, making travel across London and beyond simple and efficient.

    This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise, and will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

    We would like to mention the check-in process:
    With City Relay, the standard option of self check-in and usually means collecting your key from a local Key Nest location close to the property or via an onsite lockbox. We do also offer the option of an in person assisted check-in and should you request this, one of the team will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and give you a quick tour of the property. For this service a fee of £40 would apply between 4pm and 7pm and a fee of £60 would apply from 7pm onwards.

    Guests must leave the property in the same state as when they checked in.
