Clean,
Comfy room, continental breakfast was a bit on the cheap side, we ended up having an excellent breakfast in the pub restaurant, room was really nice
One night stay at the property before our flight from Heathrow Airport, lovely place and facilities for what our family of 4 needed.
Food at the restaurant was outstanding especially the Sunday roast definitely recommend the property and restaurant and would use the property in the future as Heathrow Airport was close by and easy to access.
Was just what we needed! Accommodation was decent and the location was great for our football tournament. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and the staff were really accommodating
Stayed here for a night with family before flying from Heathrow the following morning.
No problems with room , enough room for the 4 of us and no issues with cleaning .
Such a lovely family run business, very friendly and welcoming people. A beautiful riverside location that can imagine will be a perfect place for summer time. We will definitely be returning often as possible. The food absolutely delicious i had the mussels for starters, I couldn’t eat enough, my husband had the Lamb Shank and my daughter had the melt in your mouth Duck all 10/10 very clean and tidy environment. Dog friendly 2 thumbs up.
Very welcoming and loverly accommodation in a great setting. Perfect for our trip to the theatre in Hayes. Enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. No breakfast in the restaurant as doesn’t open until 12 but cereal, croissant, and yoghurt provided in the room which suited us.
I only stayed one night here on my way back to the states but it was lovely. The little canal out back was beautiful. The room was spacious with a huge bathtub. Checking in was a breeze and we were even given a small breakfast in our room for the morning (cereal, a croissant, tea). I’m not sure how walkable the area is since we didn’t walk but there did seem to be some shops on our drive in and out from there. We didn’t get to try the restaurant but from what I saw when walking to and from our room, it looked good. I’d definitely recommend if you need a nice place around the airport to stay. It was worth it.
Staff members were very helpful and friendly only reason I rated 4 stars was because the room was not heated enough

Property itsself was ok nothing fancy but nothing extra. Noowhere in the room to sit other than the bed. No tissues. Had issues locking the front door and figuring out the shower head. Located on a cute canal but next to decrepid house boats that looked like the homeless lived in them. Saw a rat while walking the path. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Check in was prompt. I was shown to my room. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious but the bathroom a little narrow. The panelling over the toilet pipe was broken. I was in courtyard 2. There was a tray with 2 cereal, 2 jam and 2 croissants. 2 yoghurts, 2 milk bottles and 2 water bottles were in fridge. There was tea, coffee and sugar. The room was dirty. I put my phone on bedside unit to charge and my hand got sticky. I had to clean the surface with water and sheets of toilet roll. The hard floor was dirty. I noticed the dirt from my feet on my bedsheet. There was a tv which I used to listen to radio. It went off a few times. I met friends in the restaurant. There was a wedding on but meals were nice. They hadn’t checked toilets though and toilet roll was out. No itemised bill but the total price sounded about right.
Lovely clean room, breakfast was limited to what can be kept in the room, croissants, jam, cerial, yogurt.

Cute cottage. Wish we were there more than one night. Very quiet. Lovely room.
Staff was friendly and helpful and arranged a ride for us the next morning.
Restaurant was very good as well
We loved our stay at the Canal Cottages. Our cottage was a detached studio room with its own private bathroom. The cottages do sit behind the main establishment. You can get an uber or bolt from this location if you would like to go explore the area around you or need to head back to the airport like we did. We took an uber to Windsor Castle from the cottages and it was about 25 minutes away from the cottages. Public transportation available but it is about a 15 minute to 20 minute walk from the cottages. After exploring Windsor we came back to the cottage to eat at their onsite restaurant. You can dine in or eat on the patio looking over the canals. Our meal was very good. If you like to walk there are some roads or canal paths to explore around the establishment. The cottages do offer free WiFi and live entertainment at the restaurant depending on the day of the week you are there. We enjoyed our food and stay at the cottages and if we were in the area again, we would stay here.
My flight was delayed and caused me to miss the check-in time for this hotel by literally 30 minutes. The hotel said they would not wait for me, would not leave me a key, and denied me access to stay at the hotel for the night. However, they did not refund my money and still charged me the full amount. I was left to find a hotel, in London, for the same night with no assistance from the hotel or hotels.com - I was not refunded or credited at either place. This is completely unacceptable and the hotel needs to be held responsible. Scrambling to find a hotel was a nightmare.
We booked the Honeymoon / Junior suite for 2 nights, it was lovely, just as the pictures showed. The view from the room was an uninterrupted view of the canal and was delightfully peaceful. You step straight out on to the edge of the canal and in to the garden of the pub, which is great to sit and enjoy the sun and passing barges, boats and wildlife. The food in the pub/ restaurant is very good and very reasonably priced. We happened to be there fore the hottest days of the year to date, so the lack of aircon was a bit of a shame, but the owners do go out of their way in setting up fans in rooms which are very welcome. Be mindful though, if you are booking for a Saturday night, the will be music playing loudly outside as the pub is a local hotspot, this does finish before midnight and you are warned by the owners in advance of your stay. We received and email regarding this and a follow up phone call.
Stayed down for the weekend for a wedding......felt a little guilty for taking so long getting ready as the cleaners couldn't get in for us..... i shouldnt have worried......they were great. Also everyone great next day after a lay in.....overall really enjoyed it......food was nice too.

When we arrived to check-in, no one was on the property to let us in. No one answered the phone. We were not made aware there was a check in by time. We ended up staying another hotel.
