It’s the worst !
It is just the worst. We checked in at 5pm, we have already paid via Hotels.com but the front desk staff told us there were no more room. Instead they could “upgrade” us to a “better” room across the street. Another staff came in and smiled “Oh, it’s a much nicer room !” Turned out it was the Hotel Indigo London-Paddington. What we were given was in the Basement ! A Disabled Access Room with no windows ! I wondered if it was the hotels’ policy, but the way you described to us was totally unbelievable ! So we were cheated. The staff could have handled such situation in a more polite and professional way, instead of lies after lies. And about the room, both shower heads were broken, the drainage wasn’t working well. The toilet was flooded. Perhaps in the basement, network was not working. It just ruined our vacation. Strongly advise not to book Hotel Mercure Paddington.

我們到埗後才決定加酒店早餐。本人確實已付清三位客人的早餐費用,頭兩天有收據,亦沒有問題,但最後一天的早餐費用亦提前一晚已付現金,由於相信服務員應該可以處理好,就是沒有拿收據,到check out時説我們其中一位客人的早餐未有付款,要補GBP$18. 我們一直在爭辯,但我手上沒有收據,又趕火車,唯有馬上付款然後離開。但肯定是前一晚的服務人員做錯了。

Executive Room
The location is very convenient, since i got two luggages and it is just right next door of the Paddington station(Heathrow Express). I stayed at executive room which is big room, but there is no window (right on the middle of the floor) and bad air circulation. There is no executive lounge for the executive room guest (Hilton Paddington has executive lounge for their guests. It’s a nice one.)

Location is good. Around the hotel, there are underground station, railway station and bus stops. You can go anywhere. The hotel was tidy. Our flight at late night, they extended the check-out time without any charges. The WiFi was so weak. I will choose this hotel next visit.

房間非常的狹小,飯店提共的房型與訂房系統內容不一致(兩張單人床,訂房系統為20平方米,實際量測約16平方米) 冷氣並非中央空調且老舊,運轉時噪音很大與不夠冷,房間似乎沒打掃乾淨,感覺很久沒人入住,我們一住進去全身皮膚發癢,類似網路上塵蹣引起的過敏症狀,完全不像一間四星級的飯店, 絕對不推薦入住, 旅遊的心情完全被弄糟了

The room was tiny, the bed even smaller! The duvet was too small for the duvet cover. The blind on the window the cord was tangled. The lights worked intermittently. The hotel was clean and tidy. But was very dissatisfied with the room was definitely not worth the high price paid. Although not the hotels fault, there are a lot of construction work right outside the hotel. The window of the room looked over the construction work, so it was very noisy and the flimsy blind did not block out the bright lights . So I would only give the room itself. One star at best!!
