Awful experience

I booked this place for a whole week as I was travelling for work. When I got there, no one was there to open the door, no one picked up the phone, and so I had to find the nearest hotel for that night, and find another place to stay for the rest of the week... It's been a day since I was supposed to checkout and I still haven't heard anything from the owner (so I still haven't gotten my money back). I am now trying to contact hotels.com so I can get a full refund. Overall a very bad experience, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

DO NOT BOOK

Absolutely rubbish service, DO NOT BOOK. My boyfriend and I confirmed with the Hotel we would be arriving at 4pm for check-in. Turned up at 4 pm and no one would answer the landline or messages. We must have rung around 30 times over two hours whilst stuck in London with nowhere to go. Eventually, we had to book another hotel. That was three days ago and STILL no one has called me back or offered me a refund. At this point, it feels like a scam. Also, the area wasn't particularly nice and there was rubbish all over the street.

Not Deluxe, but clean and simple

The location is great, only 15 min from London Center and 1 metro station from Liverpool street, However the room was announced as Deluxe room, and this room was far away from this, the pictures on the side may be from another room. Very simple, but clean, only bed (quite OK), wardrobe and commode, no chair, no table, no desk, to sit for eating or working. However the available kitchen was well equipped. the terrace was very dirty, not useable, the room was one the 2nd floor and the stairs also not really welcoming, The internet was not accessible, may be a communication problem, but if you looking for a simple, clean room to stay overnight, to a good rate, this place is to consider.

Worth the price

This hotel was Basicly one of the flats in A black of flats converted to hotel rooms with a shared bathroom and toilet, the block itself isn’t in the best area as I know the area well but you won’t get any trouble there, at the same time it’s also right next to shoreditch where all the night life is and just off Bethnal Green road which is good if you want to pop out and get some quick food or a drink , the room was clean very basic just a bed and a lamp with a chest of drawers and cupboard , no tv, I paid £37 to stay here on a Saturday and I would say it’s worth ti because to stay anywhere near shoreditch costs a lot of money, I did find a long black hair on my bed which was weird but probably just the cleaners hair had fallen out, bed was okay nothing super comfy, as a whole you get what you pay for really and it’s a good price in that area if your going for a night out and just want somewhere simple to lay your drunk head lol or just a basic room for the night
