Glacier Front Row View- NEW Northern lights cottage.- NO 6.

"We loved this little house. Such an incredible location, with gorgeous mountain views as well as glimpses of the sea. We were a family of five, Mum and Dad plus 3 large teenage/adult children, and there was plenty of room for us all. The wifi, dishwasher, television, washing machine, cooker etc all worked fine. The shower was a bit weak but ok.The house was very clean, the sofa and chairs were comfortable and the beds, duvets and linens were lovely. Communication with the host was great.The access to the upper floor is by a staircase ladder, which might be tricky for someone with mobility issues. As stated, you need to clean the house and wash all the bed linen and towels before you leave - which will take a couple of hours - make sure you have enought time to do that. Hellnar is a cluster of houses and buildings near to the shore - there's a nice cafe for breakfast or lunch. Not much else nearby so stock up on food to bring with you.The Snaefellsnes peninsula has so much to offer - enjoy!"

"Nestled below Snaefelles Volcano and above the Sea, this cabin has a striking location. The house is modern, quiet, clean, and comfortable. We spent one day touring the national park and another circumnavigating the northern and southern shores of the peninsula. Made for a memorable and restorative interlude."

"Unique, stand-alone apartments/suites on a scenic site. Close to a beautiful but challenging hiking trail. A little cafe is within a few minutes walking distance, as is a hotel with a restaurant and bar. There are no beverages or snacks. Check-in is flawless if you read your email from 2 days before. (We were traveling and didn’t check.) No air conditioning, but open windows cooled the room. In the end, it might have been nice to stay another night or two."
