Peaceful week at the lake.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. Bring some beach towels and ingredients for s'mores, and you’re all set!

The property was fantastic. We enjoyed the fire pit, kayaking, and playing games. I would recommend this for a family with or without children.

Anything outside the house was awful, outdoor patio full of spider webs and grill and not in a condition to use at all! There was a tree that I’m guessing fell down recently around the fire pit!

Already planning our return back!
What a fantastic place that our whole family enjoyed. Cabin layout was perfect. With 2 king master rooms and a loft upstairs plenty of room for our family with 2 teens to spreadout. Lots of outside space with seating at patio and firepit to enjoy and access to kayaks was nice. Modern appliances and probably the best equipped kitchen we have run into with vacation rentals. We will definitely be back.

A little piece of Heaven.
Excellent location. Modern amenities. Comfy, cozy, quiet, nice view of lake. Just down the road, Outlaw BBQ was the best ribs in East Texas. Wish the rugs were cleaner. Bathtub in back bedroom, a little slippery. Over all, good stay.

Lovely
My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Lakefront Abode and it was a great experience. The house was very clean and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked. The yard was very nice with string lights, a fire pit and a swing by the water. Sadly we did not spend time outside as it was raining and a bit cold. We didn't get to use the kayaks either because of the weather.
We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends.

Super house!
Lovely well presented house very clean inside and lots of supplies, for the 10 days we were there!! Very convenient for Daingerfield State Park and Jefferson (Caddo lake) plus 5 D Steahouse in Avinger. Property is close to lake but all access is over grown for kayak use, also NO central AC - so bedrooms are hot if you close doors at night! We would not want to stay for a summer :) which I didn’t read when booking it!! Luckily, we had lots of rain and cloudy days, so most of the time the ceiling fans kept sleeping reasonable! Enjoyed the fire pit on the dry nights!

Lovely home!
Super clean home in quiet location, unable to get kayaks on lake as there is too much growth on bank ;( Also, the house does NOT have central AC, so bedrooms are hot when you close doors, wall unit in main area only! I really didn’t see that or read anything before booking, definitely would not stay in summer. We were lucky and had lots of rain/clouds so was tolerable :)
