Great location, fun house for everyone

Everyone had fun staying here, it is accessible and enjoyable. We had fun with all the games in the game room, and had a great time around the fire pit. We look forward to going back to this house again, we had nice weather but staying there with a storm coming in would be fun as well.

Great Getaway in Long Beach

We recently chose this property for an extended family vacation near Long Beach, which was ideal since one of our family members uses a wheelchair. The house was spacious and offered numerous amenities, and it was fully ADA compliant. We really enjoyed the openness of the main living area. We had no issues navigating the wheelchair inside. The views were lovely, and the beach access was excellent. However, it's important to remember which trail you take to ensure an easy return. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at a wonderful location!

LONG BEACH VACAY

Our stay was nice at After Dune Delight. The home was nice and close to the beach. No real negatives except possibly the stairs were a little dangerous for elders and kids. A couple items mentioned on the listing that were available we didnt find. However overall we all enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

Overall the entire process, location amenidies were great. I would however, be more clear that there is NO shower in the master bedroom and that everyone in the three bedrooms upstairs has to share the ONE shower up stairs or go downstairs and use the bathroom down there. Not happy about that situation. Would we go back to property, probably yes but would look around only becuase of the upstairs shower situation. Best Regards,

Memorial weekend

My family loved the house plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. Short walk to beach. The game room and garage games were a huge hit. The house was clean and well stocked on everything you might have forgotten. Deer hung out in the back yard. The fire pit was great for smores. Bonus the neighbors were also extremely friendly. We will definitely stay again.

We loved this home! Was perfect for our family. So relaxing and very quiet!! The transitions through doorways and walkways for a wheelchair are done very smoothly! Great platters for serving big meals, a dutch oven, kitchen aid, cookie making supplies, etc. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable. They literally thought of everything and had it available. For example there was a lighter for the grill. So much thought went in the stocking the house. The spa was large and well maintained, we really enjoyed it after cooler days at the beach. The games were well maintained and provided entertainment on rainy days. Everything was clean and in great working order. There were heaters in the garage so we were comfortable while playing. I was worried about the hot tub and my 2 year old, but with the door shut, it felt very safe. Plenty of towels for the hot tub and inside for showers as well. I've stayed places where there weren't enough towels for the number of guests allowed.My mom is in a wheelchair, the ADA equipment was wonderful. I've had a difficult time finding a spot on the beach that can accommodate her. This place was perfect! The only downside was that the beach was so far away. This is nothing against the house though, it seems to be typical of houses at Long Beach. It was a long haul for kids and so far away my mom didn't get the beach feel she was hoping for. The private path down is great and right next to the house.There was a brief issue with the hot tub and Bloomer Estates Vacation Rentals responded quickly. The yard mowing crew was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this company and a stay in this wonderful house!

After Dunes Delight

Loved the ADA compatibility for our 95 yr old mum though we were not able to get the stair lift to work. It was a great space for 8 adults and our dog. You can't actually see the ocean but you can hear it. Pretty good walk to the beach, which was amazing! The pool table room is actually the unattached garage. The laundry facility and gaming room is housed with the inoperable hot tub. This portion is also not attached to the house. We were unable to use this portion as the mildew smell was over powering. We also could not get the propane fire pit to operate. It appeared the tank had been left in the open position. The house was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything anyone could need for cooking & baking. The multiple coffee makers came in handy. Ample bedding, towels & pillows certainly made our stay comfortable.

A great Long Beach getaway

Our family stayed at After Dune Delight for nearly a week with our friends and their child, and the quiet location just outside of town suited us well. Even on rainy days, there were comfy couches, Wi-Fi, and lots of natural light for the adults, and multiple attached, external play areas for the kids (including foosball and ping pong in the detached garage, and a PacMan video arcade game in the pool room). The sprawling, well-stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare great shared meals, with filtered water and ice easily available from the fridge door for folks sensitive to the smell and taste of coastal water. The house has two generous king bedrooms and a smaller bunk bed room upstairs, and a smaller queen bedroom off the main living area on the ground floor. The bathroom setup is a bit unusual: no shower in the massive master bathroom, but a really nice one in the accessible bathroom downstairs (super convenient for cleaning off salty kids); a Jack-and-Jill bathroom connecting the other large bedroom to the bunk room) … but it all worked out well enough. Ceiling fans kept larger bedrooms and the huge open living space cool and breezy, and it’s clear that the owners have worked to make the space attractive and functional. Our kiddo reports that her experience was “cozy, warm, and sandy.” Both kids particularly enjoyed hanging, flipping, swinging, and climbing on the play structure right outside the house, and running the long path over the dunes to Long Beach’s famous beach. (It is an excellent house for kids.) It’s worthwhile noting clearly that while this is technically a beachfront property, the geography of Long Beach means that you can only just barely see the water from the upper floor, and it’s a 7-8min walk along a sandy path to the beach.
