“Be aware that check-In time is listed at 3 p.m. but rooms may not be ready until after 4 p.m. We arrived with a tight window to get ready for a wedding that began at 4:30 p.m., but we could not get into our room until 3:30 p.m. Staff stated that the rooms were all booked the night before and they would not have them ready until up to 4 p.m. Multiple people were waiting to check in at 3 p.m. but could not get into their rooms. “The room was nice in itself, however the air conditioning unit was super loud... making a non stop continuous clunk clunk noise. I went to the front desk to let them know about the issue, and the owner and a handyman came by in half an hour but they only took off the cover and kicked it a couple of times and said they couldn't make it quieter and left. The motel was also fully booked so we were not offered another room. By bedtime the noise got even louder and so unbearable that we had to turn……

“The property is old and dated but the room was great! We had a very comfortable sleep for 2 nights in a king bed! The property is far from downtown so walking was not an option but for the price, it was worth it. It looks dodgy from the outside but the room was just what we needed. It’s not the ritz, but is great for the price point and a family on a budget trying to see this part of Nova Scotia.”
