Perfect getaway!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived the staff were so kind and helpful! We got right to our condo and settled in. The beach was beautiful and the pool was relaxing! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and have some family time. We will definitely be back! Thank you all so much who work there!

All you need for a great beach vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was phenomenal. It had every detail you could think of to help ease cooking at the home, sleeping comfortably and close to the beach. Only issue was that there was a large amount of ghost ants all over the kitchen. We are local and know the ants, but it was excessive to where even with no food out they would swarm. Hopefully that can be remedied because otherwise the stay was wonderful.

Beautiful quiet beach vacay

The condo felt like a home versus a hotel room. Clean and comfortable and the beds were great! The grounds and beach were beautiful and I enjoyed seeing families building summer fun together. Thank you.

Beautiful spot on the beach!

Everything was exactly as described. The condo was very clean and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Lounge chairs on the beach and the BBQ grills are an added bonus!

Great vacation opportunity!

This was a wonderful vacation locale. The condo itself was clean and spacious and included everything you need for a great vacation. Perfect family vacation

We had a fantastic time at Sandy Cay. It was our first vacation with our baby and the property was perfect for our situation. The condo was clean well equipped for kids-it was so nice that we did not have to rent a highchair or pack and play. Our son had a blast and we enjoyed family time and quiet grownup dinners on the balcony. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect condo for a family of 4!

The location is great, right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was super easy. Condo was well equipped and clean. Nice king bed in master and a bunk bed with a pull out trundle bed below so you 3 beds total in second bedroom. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Long Boat Key.

Everything you need!

We had a great stay at Sand Cay. They had everything we needed as far as toys, beach supplies and towels. The unit was clean and orderly. Other unit owners were very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting. Will definitely return!

The apartment is very comfortable and well maintained. It is nicely furnished, has a great balcony, and easy access from the parking lot. Dianna is a pleasure to deal with. She answered our questions promptly and provided helpful information about resources in and around Longboat Key. Would definitely stay there again!

Great getaway

Very fun property with plenty to do for the family. Enjoyed the pool, tennis, shuffleboard and grilling on the property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool can be loud at times especially with young adults or families nearby but generally clears out by diner. Beach area was beautiful with plenty of chairs and room to spread out. Very quiet on the beach all week and not crowded during the weekend. I would recommend.

A Day at the Beach!

Sand Cay is a great property! The grounds are lovely and the availability of extras (beach chairs: free. laundry: free) is wonderful. We would come back to this property, if not necessarily the particular unit we stayed in (would rather be closer to the beach and further from the pool) in. Minute!

Great condo and location!

This was the first time that my husband and I stayed at a condo in Sand Cay, and we were pleased with both the condo and the location. The beach is wonderful with plenty of lounge chairs available. The condo unit was clean and new linens were available for use. The owner, Dianna K., was very responsive throughout the booking process as well as providing sufficient information to us prior to our stay. She also responded quickly to a couple of e-mails that I sent to her during our stay.

Great for kids, Beach and pool

The property was very comfortable with lots of room inside and great beach access. The resort had a lot of families staying there which was nice at times but a little loud at others, but we were a little more sensitive to this as we have an infant who takes multiple naps a day and goes to bed early. The owner was exceptional in getting back to us and being flexible with our travel needs. Would give it five stars if kitchen was more recently renovated, if the screen door to the porch functioned (just had a heavy sliding glass door), and if construction of the property north of the resort was completed, but that looks like it's finishing up in the next month.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing stay on longboat key. The property was fantastic for a family of four. The subtle touches like beach chairs and beach toys were truly hidden treasurs. Due to some breezy weather we spent one day at the mote aquarium which was a value with all of the wonderful attractions they offered. Additionally if you stay i suggest dining at the drydock grill, their food was out of this world. Diana was a pleasure to deal with and remained in constant communication. We will be back to long boat key and will stay at this property again.
