Quiet lake cabin

Beautiful spot on the lake. Owner lives next door, but we almost never saw them. The cabin was nice with a great patio overlooking the lake. The only negative would be for older people it is a steep hike down to the dock.

Quant little property. Very tidy. The AC did not work well and it was a hot weekend. There were also small black bugs all over the kitchen and bathroom. The host lived next store but was not invasive.

Quite cozy cabin

We really enjoyed this place. This cabin is on a beautiful lake with a nice quiet and clean shore line. The all paved driveway and walk ways are an excellent addition. The cabin is very quiet and cozy and worked great for our family of four. Loved the place and would definitely plan to stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was so cute, and nicely furnished. Great views and the landscaping and outdoor space was beautiful. Very quiet neighborhood and lake. We really enjoyed our stay here!

great fishing hide away

great place to stay there were 4 guys getting away for a week long fishing fishing trip plenty of room for parking trucks and boats, we highly recommend this place and would gladly go back again thanks George and Jill

Very nice property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was very peaceful, and the cabin was clean and cozy. It was very nice that the owner sprays for bugs because we could actually sit outside and enjoy it.

Cute little cabin, very clean and updated. Nice patio which overlooks the lake. Great spot to park your boat with their bumpers. Had gorgeous weather & hosts are very accommodating and quick to respond. Really loved the area and the privacy, beautiful lake!

What A Time On Wabedo!

We had so much fun hanging out at this cabin on Wabedo. Super clean and just a great place to be. Made lots of happy memories with our kids!

Lovely

I really can’t tell you what a little jewel this place is and off the beaten path. Lots of fun, pretty country roads to explore by bike along the lake and the cabin, while right next door to the owners, felt quite private. The outside patio was gorgeous nestled amongst trees overlooking the lake where we spent most of our time.

Great little cabin on a nice clean lake. Loved the outdoor space, kitchen, and bedrooms. Loved the use of dock, canoe, and paddleboard. A little tricky parking boats and trailers on property. Overall, would recommend this area and cabin.

Quiet and Relaxing

This was our first time to Longville. We enjoyed the quiet, quaint town and relaxing lake atmosphere. The cabin was perfect for a quick visit with a family of four. We enjoyed the lake access and canoe provided. There is a lot of lotus vegetation, so we had to get used to the weeds when swimming at the dock, but the vegetation is beautiful and adds to the lake scenery. Hope to be back soon!

Great family vacation

Thank you, George and Jill, for a wonderful family vacation! Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the cabin. The beds were comfortable, TV was large and accessible. Kitchen and grill had accessories we needed to make most of our meals at the cabin. We rented a pontoon from Wheeler Marine and had access to the dock, and also a canoe and 2 paddle boards that the kids had a great time playing with. Thanks again!!

Cabin

Had a great time staying at this cabin. Got in late so was hard to find the entrance but George was such a huge help so had no issues after. Cute place very close to the small towns. Loved that it was right on the lake. Only weird thing was there wasn’t any towels or a sponge to clean dishes but made it work. (Said after we rented that there were no towels so we were told once he sent info) Overall great stay would recommend

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location.

The cabin is well decorated with a wildlife theme. My bride was a bit taken aback by all the taxidermy. We enjoyed the beautiful view and serenity of the patio. Luckily the fall color popped during the week which enhanced the beauty of the location. We also enjoyed the fire pit almost every evening. Since this trip was our 1st wedding anniversary vacation we appreciated the bottle of wine left for us by the owners. We enjoyed that bottle of wine with some excellent rib eye steaks that we grilled on the very nice grill. Overall it was a pleasurable stay and we would recommend the place to all our friends and family. Not every trip is perfect and I would like to make note of a couple things we encountered, more of a personal preference but your experience may vary. It is a long walk down a steep grade to the lake and the dock and then back up. There is no beach area or easy access to the water, lots of rocks and vegetation at the water. My bride and I are bigger people so we found the sleeping arrangements a bit difficult, the largest sleeping surface being full size at best. If you like to snuggle and cuddle you might want to bring a large air mattress. Watch for deer!
