Longyearbyen Hotel with Pool

"This is an authentic hotel converted from old miner barracks. Inside the hotel is like a museum. I loved the every corner of this hotel. I enjoyed my stay there big time. Its location is good - not on the main street, but just a little outside with an excellent view of the valley and mountains and close by the fjord. The shared bathroom situation has never been a problem. There are plenty pathhrooms in the hallway. I never had to compete for a bathroom. Their breakfast is very good. They also...

"Friendly staff who were ready to help and answer questions. It would have been nice to have been offered help with luggage as there is no lift but a kind man who was cleaning helped me when checking out. Several cabins present - some a bit far from the reception but luckily mine was close. Dinner options are decent. The view and surrounding environment are nice and peaceful, but the walk to the town is definetely longer than the advertised 20 minutes, however it can be a nice walk. I don't mind...
