「John was a great host. He replied to my questions immediately. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. The cottage was perfect for our stay. I loved being up on a hill looking down on the road below. It was quiet and relaxing. The outdoor lighting was definitely appreciated. It sure gets dark in the country. 「We stayed here for a few days to explore the New River Gorge. Having never been to the area before, I realized later that there are places that we almost booked that would've been very far from the places we wanted to see. This location was just right - close to Oak Hill and Fayetteville for shops/dining, and 10 minutes or so to the New River Gorge Bridge.
