I felt safe in the area, however it was pretty noisy with thin walls and right next to a car dealership/repair shop. No central heating which was not mentioned, with the weather during my stay we were absolutely freezing in the home with little relief from bundling up. Amenities were fine, understandable from the place just being old. We ran out of toilet paper on the second day, with no extra anywhere in the house. I can't speak for the other room but the one my husband and I stayed in, the bed had a sink hole in the middle and felt like we were sleeping on uneven springs. Area and approximate location were nice in terms of why we were travelling but not ideal if you're trying to enjoy LA or Hollywood to the fullest. Just okay.
