Lovely place

Lovely place and setting, beautiful meal, very friendly staff, overall would definitely recommend, only downside was not enough coffee/tea in the room and do take your own toiletries, over wise 👍well satisfied 😊

An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months

Great riverside pub.

Free parking round the back, by the riverside. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Meal and drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff are great; friendly and welcoming!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very good. Top tip: sit on the green by the river with takeaway fish and chips and a drink. Lovely. The rooms are a little basic but fine. Location is quiet with lots of great walks around the area. Free parking next to the pub.

We arrived expecting bed and breakfast but were advised no breakfast but dinner instead and that this was a better deal. Financially it may be, BUT you are then tied to being back at the pub for dinner, sometime between 6 and 8pm with a very limited menu -especially if you're vegetarian/vegan. Breakfast could be bought at a shop/cafe next door but 2 breakfasts with coffee came to over £30. There's nothing to do in the village apart from the pub which offered Cornish shanty singers on the Friday night. Bedrooms accessed by very steep, uneven steps up the outside of the building with further steps with no handrail inside. There was no milk in the bedroom and just sufficient t bags and coffee for one of each, each day. No biscuits or snacks. Very basic. Bedrooms were not cleaned during our 3 night stay and you were requested to strip your bed at the end of your stay, leaving bedding and towels in the bath If you have even minor mobility issues this is not the place for you. During high tides, parking is on street only. Overall, acceptable for a quick break but we will not return.

Loved the old building and that it was a pub. The kitchen was closed when ee arrived so they suggested we order Chinese. Very good breakfast in the conservatory. Great staff. Stairs only up to the rooms. So if you have trouble going up and down stairs, this not the place for you.

The room needed a couple of cushions or extra pillows as 4 very cheap pillows to sit on bed to watch tv. Needed more support as hard headboard ! Would like a long mirror on wall as only small mirror less than a foot square. A shelf in bathroom would be good to put sponge bag and toothbrushes on. Had to put in bath as even corners of bath too small to put anything on. Pleasant staff and lovely location.

Charmerende by og kro - med plads til forbedring

Lerryn er en hyggelig og smukt beliggende landsby. The Ship Inn også en hyggelig kro. Værelserne - specielt det ene - var meget slidt, og med en dårlig, knirkende seng. Vi ønskede to dyner til dobbeltsengen, men man rådede ikke over ekstraudstyr (!). Personalet var sødt og venligt, men ikke særligt professionelt. Det ene værelse var ikke klargjort, da vi kom om aftenen. Morgenmaden lidt middelmådig.

Lovely Inn in beautiful village

Beautiful little village with a centuries old stone bridge over a tidal river. The Inn was lovely and welcoming and the room clean and just right. Had a tasty meal in the Inn on afternoon of arrival, service excellent. The breakfast was also delicious. So glad I found it, we were very happy and would recommend.
