"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

"This property is amazing! There's an old mill with a stream, a cute bridge and fish to watch. There are fruit trees, an outdoor bbq building, mountain views and a town nearby with everything you need. It's about 20-25 minutes away from the university town of Coimbra, which has lots of tourist attractions, major shopping, etc. Also, the owners are wonderful and so helpful. This was a great experience and vacation."

"Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. "

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The negative was that do to the fires the amounts around the property were burned and the property was a bit farther from civilization then originally thought. However the home itself was very clean and secure."

"The hosts Mark and Lerryn are great hosts. Very attentive. Casa Lerryn is a lovely place to spend a relaxing week. The most noise we could hear are the crickets chirping in the evening. "The property was above all our expectations. Very clean, very comfortable, in short a home away from home. The kichen was very well stocked with all the kitchen utensils any chef would need. I used the BBQ several times, it worked perfect. I would recommend the butcher in Ansiao, great selection. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone. A bid thanks to an awesome host."

"Fabulous stay and luxury experience for an affordable cost. Enjoyed dining at the hotel for dinner and breakfast In Luxe surroundings. Breakfast can be on the outdoor terrace overlooking the garden. Hiked to the top and enjoyed the stations of the cross and other chapels that adorned our “way” dating back to the 1600s. Beautiful nature. Tranquility at its finest. Highly recommend. Staff was very nice too. "
