"We booked all the villas and the main retreat. The villas were clean and spacious, beds comfy and all amenities provided for. They welcomed us with a bottle of Peter Drayton wines which we enjoyed immensely. The grounds and the estate were lovely to take a stroll in. The retreat house is located a bit further away from the villas and is about a 6 minute walk. The house is definitely older than the villas, but also clean and spacious. "What a perfect stay for a young family (kids 4 and 7). We enjoyed the early check in that was available (at 11:30am even though website said generally the rooms were available from 3pm), but we got lucky that a room was vacant). The pool was the perfect temperature, the water park was so much fun for the kids, the cocktails were delicious, and oh my god that buffet for breakfast was incredible!! Thanks for a memorable stay! We are definitely coming back when we return to the Hunter! Very good value for money! "
